o yea for you guys watching Univision the anouncers for this game jose Chilavert and whats his face who did the Ecuador game as well are ALOT better than their main broadcasting team with that GOL AZO AZO AZO ASSHOLE guy.
Hopefully univision will realize it.

I also like how they kept callin the ref dracula lol

dubious own goal..... paraguay blokes head didnt change the path or angle of the ball whatsoever. Would have gone sailing in regardless of the defenders head.

Has pissed me off a lot- had 5 on at odds of 33/1 on beckham being the first england scorer in that match.... Nice tidy profit that should have been

No traffic noise at all while that game was on....like a ghost town

wow...Trinidad & Tobago and Sweden are tied at the half

i'm seriously stunned

it'll be a

Fucking swedes

Ivory Coast looked good today against Argentina.

But the fact remains... Brazil is the team to beat. When your team looks more like an All-Star team than a national representative, there could be a problem for others. I dont know if there is a team thats gonna be able to stop Ronaldo, Robinho and Ronaldinho - I think the only team with a defense semi-good enough to stop those 3 belngs to Italy, but even still it isnt all that amazing.

i swear, i'm gonna have to learn spanish as fast as I can

ESPN/ABC coverage just love to beat certain phrases to death

If I hear for the 89750987th time that the civil unrest in the Ivory Coast was caused because Beckham free kick didn't have enough bend when there are set pieces on the field...i'm gonna strangle someone

Posted by Taub on Jun-11-2006 22:34:

The US to loose tomorrow! yay

looking forward to the match.

sid: i think angola's just happy to be in WC, and i'm not trying to sound like an asshole. they know they dont have a chance at the cup but they still performed well. as for portugal... no clue wtf their problem was, you'd think their first game in the 2006 cup would have been more spirited.. they're not gonna get very far anyway. good riddens, i say.

Posted by amdmaxx on Jun-12-2006 00:13:

WTF?
Portugal controlled the ball all game..
smoking killss..

portugal decided to sit on a 1-0 lead....if they decide to play like that....they'll be lucky to advance one round in the knockout phase

I did say that their entire team is composed pretty much of a world allstar team. But the R-trio will be the primary goal scorers for them.
