Wow. That was the most insane live set I've ever been to! I thought Satoshi's set was nuts
. After that I wasn't sure who was spinning, when but it was all a lot different than what I anticipated. This was my first time hearing a Sasha set and wow. I know he compiled Fundication but I totally did not expect him to spin anything along those lines. I felt like last nights sets really pushed the limits of the types of music that can appreciate. It definately opened up my ears to a very different sound. I will definately be attending the next one
.
What bothered me most about the night was the Crobar crowd. In the first hour or so I was enjoying the music somewhat, but the crowd got on my nerves so much that I was just about ready to leave. Fortunately it started raining TA's.
It was great meeting everyone that I did
Left at around 5:30. Sucks 'cause I was really starting to enjoy things but I had a very long, sleepless week at work so yeah. Till next time...
yea.. that fight was pretty crazy... blood was all over the floor. kinda nasty

Im soo glad i came out last night. It was my first time see'n Sasha and I loved it. Like Ryan said Sasha was smiling alot and seemed very into the crowd. grr i was soo pissed when we got to LOVE for afterhours and they closed wtf That would have been awesome tho cuz we had a group of like 10+ ppl. bah i still had fun afterwards anyway
doombot, go away. sasha has let his guests play some pretty prime hours, hence your getting off early comment or whatever. he can probably mix with a handcranked phonograph better than anyone can with vinyls and cdjs so that second statement of yours is moot.

Had a phenomenal time last night.
The line wasnt long when we got there around 11:30pm; had to wait no more than 10 mins. I got a little concerned when it started drizzling, but it didnt rain hard when we were on line. So that was cool.
It was my first time listening to Satoshi. I thought he was good. I liked the beats that he was playing. But! I also thought it wasnt coordinated and it was a bit all over the place. But! It was good. I liked many of the tracks he played towards the end of his set.
Like Ryan said, most of the night, I was having so much fun that I wasnt sure who was playing. Haha. But! Had to look up this one time because some rock stuff played and yes, it wasnt Sasha spinning. Haha.
The crowd was ok too. I really thought itd be super packed, but it wasnt! The only complaint I had was when some 18 yr old girls started screaming with joy at so many unnecessary moments. My ears started hurting. Haha.
Did they raise the drink prices at Crobar? Ordered a RedBull & Vodka .. and a Long Island Iced Tea .. and it was $28! Hmm. Im not a huge alcohol drinker, but I did not know they stop serving alcohol on a Saturday morning, 4-8am. I thought it was only Sundays.
Stayed till closing. Then headed to Love, but they were closed. Then headed to Sol, but then they just closed. Felt like I havn't partied like last night in ages.
Next stop Markus Schulz!!!!! I am looking forward to seeing him perform for the first time.

i just saw lavelle and sasha here in DC and i must say that lavelle is the worst fucking DJ i've ever seen in my life. he cannot mix for shit only small little thing is that he played about 3 good tracks but for some reason sasha let him play a lot of the peak hours when he is supposed to be an OPENER.
This was the party of the year for me. Sasha suprised everyone and didn't play his usual electro style. He played dark hard progressive for most of the night. Satoshi was a really good opener, and Lavelle in the middle brought the energy up. Sasha's last few hours was just insane. Near the end they sprayed the entire floor with confetti. Then when the C02 came on, the confetti would rise from the floor, making an awesome party effect.

Gabe called from the other car and said they'd gone to Sol, but at that point (like 8 am), we decided we were done for the night. |

| Originally posted by seriot great event, could have gone without seeing that dude get his ass kicked by bouncers, could have sworn he was dead when he hit the floor, but had a lot of fun |
