Most of the stuff Digweed is now playing is tech house
digweed plays house
a lot of his stuff has deep bass, and high highs. Sometimes techy then he'll drop some melodies. Techy, Trancy, Acidy, Deep, prog, but still is house

Digweed delivers mind blowing seamless mixes encompassing multiple genres of different tempos & atmospheres...it's what makes him Digweed.

| Originally posted by all-nite-freak the first time i saw digweed in a club was in 97, and ive seen him every year since...other than the odd tech house track, ive havent seen a tech house set from him live. I like digweed, but just saying he is a tech house dj is very wrong. im willing to bet at that time you were still listening to ace of base |

| Originally posted by Clovis86 I've never listened to Ace Of Base, I think in 97 I was still into Smashing Pumpkins. I just saw Digweed last Thursday and most of what he was playing was tech house or similar...but I agree that you cant say hes just a tech house DJ since he drops a variety of stuff in his sets... |

| Originally posted by all-nite-freak whats wrong with learning the roots of the music, when it can better help you grasp its future changes and direction?Music isnt only for listening, as studying its past and origins can be just as stimulating ![]() Do i enjoy everything Frankie Knuckles spins...no, but i have to say he is the dj i most respect and idolize.Without people like Jefferson,Tenaglia,Knuckles...the edm side of things would be quite different today |

And thats not what i meant actually ![]() People saying they like the digweed of 10 years back more than now is fair enough and im not talking about those people. My point was to some people around here who seem to hate almost every new thing that comes out and keep refering to the past. There must be SOMETHING good this present day ![]() I hope my point is clearer now |
