ahhhh, volleyball.
started playing this in 6th grade. still play it now in college. played on the junior olympic club team in houston for a couple years.
now i help coach my old high school.

i've loved the sport ever since i started playing. it feels so good to hit the ball right into the ground, or at someone's face. and when everything goes perfect, it's just amazing.

watching amazing college ball is astounding. such a fast game when you think about it.

i've always been disappointed though. people always think it's a girls sport, even though it was started by guys, and the actual game play is so much fun to watch. girls play is fun to watch just for the girls (which i have found to be hit or miss most of the time).
also, this means that us guys don't get any attention at all. i think the biggest crowd there was for one of our games was about 40 or 50 people. it's just kinda disappointing to me to love something so much, and not have the opportunity to show others (kinda like electronic music; there's a big crowd, but in the states it's still just picking up)
