Man, anyone know how to get this to work on XP?

I haven't played it since I upgraded to XP years and years ago, I know it's possibly, just dunno how to set the combatibility options or wutevar.

You don't have to do anything special to have it work with XP, it's 100% compatible.

Been playing it on B.Net since it came out eight years ago. Still play several times a week. Mainly 2v2 Lost Temple, Luna, & other PGT maps.

Yes, something particular with you system, or the CD. When the game first loads, it needs the CD, could be something with that.

I have run it on at least 4 different XP PC's with no problems.

Starcraft was awesome back in the days, I don't know why Blizzard hasn't made a sequel to it, The last thing they did was that Brood Wars expansion pack and that was it.

Starcraft hasn't been played on my new computer, hell I haven't played startcraft since Ultima Online first came out, that's when I ditched starcraft. Back around 98 or 99 somewhere around there.

I played that game almost daily for hours a day for a good 4 years. Any game that is that good needs a bloody sequel to brood wars. I never played the missions, but new units and maps are cool. They should put in naval units.

ahh yeah starcraft, i loved that game. I played with Protoss all the time. We played this game in school before 8 player & i beat everyones ass. At that time i could beat anyone on this board but to bad i dont play it anymore
