Germany has been to the QF of every World Cup since 1954, except once (in 1978 -- 2nd round). I can't believe so many people would discount their history of showing up big in World Cups, especially on their own turf. No way am I betting against Germany this early. Germany wins by at least one goal.

That's probably the thing that has them winning this one. Plus the fact they always manage to squeeze one in. Sweden just lacks a bit in this.

Both teams are relatively weak in defense, Germany just hasn't got into too many trouble due to them playing beer teams in the group phase.

I think (and hope, at least) it's gonna be a fairly tight game.

I said Argentina-Mexico will be very dificult for Argentina. Well, this is going to be even harder for the germans. Sweden are a damn good team, not far away from the top squads in quality. I wouldn't even be surprised if they manage to knock the germans out. But Germany to win. On the penalty kicks.
