Space is not shitty,,, from all the places I have been in USA for me Space is the best venue.

well it is definately my favorite club. great sound system, great lighting, and great atmosphere most of the time.. like I said i don't think space intends to give you tons of eye candy via decorations & nice furniture or what not, it just provides raw entertainment

dumbest post of the year. yeh i know your from europe and its so much better over there, blah, blah. ive clubbed all over north america and the caribbean, and space is still one of my favorite clubs.

yea i guess Space is tops right now. even though it doesn't have good variety, it brings in the top dj's which most other clubs down here do.

space brings good djs bla bla but the place LOOKS like a shoebox painted black. the decoration lacks any kind of creativity. for its reputation, when u first walk into space, it is quite disappointing to SEE. trust me on that one

and also trust me that a lot of the clubs in europe that you expect are amazing to see, are just as BORING.

Out of all the places Metropolis is overrated, its ugly ass hell..I think Space and Noc are really nice places IMO...Mansion is nice but crobar dragqueen crap so I never saw that when it was around.

So you go to a club to see how nice its set up or you go for the music? I can carelss what the club looks like as long as they have a good sound system and good music coming out of them speakers then thats all all I need.If any of you youngsters ever got to expierence the OLD SPACE you would have been to the ugliest club well at the beginning before they made one of the big room into vip.Low ceilings,cds hanging from the ceiling, dark as hell but the vibe that was in that place was out of this world.Its mainly for afterhours well atleast for me it is so what do you expect to see around 4 am on up? people just want to have a place to party no matter what the place looks like and thats why I think its been so succesful throughout the years.Man the old space was like a big hole in the wall and yet it was the best club i've ever partied at.And i know alot of people that were around that era will agree with me on this one. I personally don't go there as much,hardly but its a good thing that we have a place like space.

But there will never be no place like the old space r.i.p.

OMG bro AMEN. I had the pleasure of hitting up the old ClubSpace 4 times in 2002...I was devastated when they tore it down. So many good memories in that place.

I know how ya feel DA,trust me when i heard they were closing it down,it felt like I was losing a loved one.lol

man, why did they bring that place down. i used to go to the all-ages when i was in high school at the time and that was the best vibe evaarrr! why oh why!? And happyface is right, it's about the music more than anything right?

AMEN to that Old Space.. was able to sneak once and saw edgar ripping it off ... I remember this song when walking in ( witches ).. Old Space may have been box of pipes, but it has been the best experience in terms of vibe and memories.

Personally I do like Space I mean you have to agree that out of all the clubs in the US it's the best. We take a lot for granted because so many people wish to party there. Yeah of course I wish they'd bring better talent but it's not gonna happen unless there is a HIGH demand for it & as much as I hate that I can't change it.
You have to admit for as long as Space has been around they keep doing stuff to change it around & rearrange it so it doesn't get boring & IMO this is the best its looked as far as the second floor & open patio goes, so much better than that railing crap.
The sound system is insane & much better than a lot of systems even in Cali.
I just can't stand being all crowded & people bumping into you but unless you're VIP that stuff is gonna happen cuz they don't have that much room to work with.

You just have to give Space credit for staying around so long where as other clubs don't even survive 2 years.
Right now I prefer intimate places like Blue because I hate being squished like a sardine & I am so short that I get trampled on lol but as far as sound & looks I give it to Space because it's def. the best in the U.S...I won't argue that Europe is 100x better or even Canada but we can't get locations to make bigger clubs cuz Luis would have been all over that.
