I can't exactly prove it, but there has been plenty written on the subject. It may be evolvement of the American Dream, or a function of our service based economy. It may not even exist at all. But it appears to be a social psychological pheonomenon large enough for more than a few people to discuss it. If it is a real thing, then would it suprise you that women as well as men have it as a personality trait?


edit: again, im not totally agreeing with him, but he is right about some general things like divorce and abuse of feminine equality. Of course, any woman could make an equivilant list of american vs. european men

That American girls are unfriendly or bitchy is a common myth. Why don't you try dating some Eastern European or South American girls and see how devious, scheming, and cruel they can be. Many will wrap you around their finger and drop you like a rock to pursue their own ends, just like they do with the naive American men who marry "mail order brides."

"Hate men"? Don't make me laugh. American women are some of the most idealistic (perhaps naive) in the world. Most actually believe in family and marriage, in contrast to the stark cynicism of the rest of the world. And if American girls are cynical about men as you claim, explain to me why so many of them dream about the "white picket fence."

But the percentages and incident rate is much much lower with foreign women. I find American women have undeveloped self-esteem, the constant contradictions, emotional response and/or overreaction to the SIMPLEST misstatement or problem, constant self-absorbment, short attention spans, superficiality, an extreme need for dependence while loudly declaring independence, and worst of all, they can't keep their fucking mouths shut or mind their own business. American women tend to be loud, obnoxious and coarse, fitting for a bar fly lifestyle.
