it was a direct assault at you only as far as to show how unprofessional you seemed to be in it.

here's a rhetorical question for you: would you have created a record label 'today' if you had to deal with the costs of vinyl production and promotion and all other aspects that revolve around a record label of the 'old' kind?

do you know why you wouldn't?...

do you realize why you shouldn't?

as a matter of fact i know i wouldnt start a label with intention to release vinyl.

1. i dont have the funds.
2. it will be near impossible to run a new label these days from scratch releasing vinyl without loss.
3. as much as i love vinyl.. it is dead. i have been buying vinyl since 1998. i lived and spent all my money on music in the year of trance..
4. vinyl involves spending many hundreds for pressings of tracks. mp3 involves much less.

if vinyl was still the platform of choice i would love to and would make a very sucessful label from it.
i intend to build a very respected label on the digital platform. involving people i respect in my musical taste.
i am not a professional. i am a down to earth human being who is starting a label for fun. that is what music is about.
i am looking forward to my first vinyl pressing with mazeman italy very soon. with my good friend x-calator i did a collab with.

dont bill everyone with the same stamp. i have had a passion and love for music of the trance variety since the days of 'sash' for gods sake!

so to conclude. my thread was a legitimate advertisment to any people who know my musical style.. and who make similar music. to send demos.
no label that i want my trax to be signed on will have them so i wanna make a label i want to be signed to. and 101 recordings will be fresh sounding and release tracks that are new, not re runs from people who are stuck in 99..

if vinyl was still the platform of choice (debatable whether it isn't) you would make a very successful label from it despite:
1. not having the funds,
2. the impossibleness of running a new label from scratch,
3. the fact that it's very hard to break even with vinyl, and
4. the fact vinyls cost a lot more to produce than mp3.

somehow i find that unlikely.

which should hint you to either of the following: 1. your tracks are not good enough, 2. you're sending them to the wrong labels.

and let's all welcome a new 'wrong' label, one which doesn't care how good your track is unless it fits under a set of very specific criteria.

well done psy -t.

you just sound like a sour grape. all you seam to want to do is judge me. the only strength you have is that you are putting major thought in how to beat my words i threw together without real thought.

are you a failed student of law trying to relive his dreams of becomeing a big shot fancy lawyer, fighting a big case?

it looks to me like the vast majority of people here come here for the love of trance. i know thats my purpose. i have friends i have met here. i also have friends in the real world. i think you probably spend most of your time here. making up for a lack of real friends by getting at others. sure your thread makes a few other sour people laugh. so i congratualte you.

anyways. you reading this means i have had the last word. i will not be reading your next post so save it for someone else you want to try and make to fell smaller than yourself. LOSER! hahaha

wow, what a load of completely redundant, weak ad hominems.
the assumption that this is taking me any thought, combined with that of me being a law student, and with the even more idiotic one of me lacking real friends... just pure comedy man.

although, as ad hominems go.. even if any of those assumptions would have been true, they still wouldn't have had any affect on my arguments.

but i obviously lost this argument seeing as you got the last word

seriously, how many of you people would still want to sign a track to his label after seeing his behaviour in these two threads?
