My wife (Cheryl) is pregnant!

Post all your tips here!

So far I've heard:
- When you buy the stroller get one with BIG wheels; easier to get around and push.

Any other sage advice?
(Serious ones only plz...)

- Don't plan on eating out your wife for a long while after she gives birth as she'll be squirting blood and placenta from there as her uterus goes back to its normal size.

Yummy.......i can almost taste it

Congrats!

my mom would say breastfeed and to take her prenatal classes

CONGRATS JEFFFFF!

my suggestion to you is to see as many dj's as humanly possible b4 ur baby is born. after he/she is born, no more parties for you since both you and your wife's life will revolve around the baby.

Congrats! Sorry I can't give you any advice though. I'm not a daddy...or a mommy.

Posted by Ashley on Jun-27-2006 14:12:

First off, Congratualtions!!

Me being a Mom, I could go on and on with advice, but here's just a few tips.

Use Pamper diapers - they're worth the extra bucks compared to no name diapers, and I found that Huggies leaked

Get the Fisher Price Infant to Toddler Rocker http://www.fisher-price.com/fp.aspx...327&selcat=bgb. It's a godsend, it vibrates, and rocks. My daughter still uses it and she's three now! Best chair ever.

Read Read Read.

As Pett said, Pre-natal classes and have your wife try nursing. It hurts sooooooo much for the first week, but the bond it will create between your wife and the baby will be wonderful.

Having a baby is the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me, from watching her roll over, crawling, walking, learning how to talk, potty training, there aren't enough words to explain how wonderful it really is. So once again Congratulations!!!

(If you need any more tips feel free to PM me, I have lots more!! )

Posted by TheNeonAlien on Jun-27-2006 14:21:

Ps..... get ready to sleep less ......... A LOT LESS!!!

Thanks for everyone's well wishes and tips; appreciated!

It's wierd...from looking at computer stuff, tech toys and gadjets to looking at strollers, becoming an MLS-addict (because we were thinking of moving anyways) and baby names...

Hmmmm maybe the stroller has a USB input...
