-- What are the hardest levels you've played (in any game)?

Ghosts & Goblins for NES. there was no difficulty setting, but it's quite simply the hardest game ever. 1 hit and you are reduced to your underwear. one more hit and you turn into a pile of bones. its ridiculously crazy!

The Mana Tree in Secret of Mana (SNES)
Also one of my fav levels in any game period.
Trojan for the NES
The whole game is far too difficult. Stil when I play it now I really have trouble to get to the second level. Let alone contuining to the other levels.
LOTR: ROTK on GCN.
SPOILERS
After I kill the Ghost King, you have to get out of the cave before it caves in. I always get hit by the falling rocks. I've given up on this game.

That level in Halo 1 where you get beamed up into their ship. You're stuck in the little cargo bay while they zerg the fuck out of you. Took me f'ing forever to beat.
And I never was able to beat the last boss in Knights of the Old Republic 1, the last boss is too hard when you don't do ANY sidequests.
Actualy once you figure it out he is quite simple to beat. Just dont engage him before you destroy al those pods with the jedi in them. Once you destroy those (if i remember correctly either destroy droid or force lightning works great on them) Malak is histroy, even on hard with no saber skills (it was my 7th time trough the game - yes i fucking love KOTOR, and i played trough the whole game with the scoundrel/consular combo using only energy weapons with my main character)

Halo 2 - Cairo Station on Legendary.
MGS2 on european extreme..... not a fucking chance in hell hahahaha i just get owned everytime.
guitar hero ( using the guitar controller ) on expert " bark at the moon is fucking impossible.
mission 17 in dmc3. The bosses in that game are hard enough as it is, but now you have to get past a couple of fallen (damn hard angel-ish enemies), a board of damned chess pieces, and then to top it off, fight all the bosses in the game over again.

Advanced wars dual strike nintendo DS all levels... WTF i read a review and it said it was too easy, that guy must be the god of strat games. Because if you make one mistake you loose..
maybe not what u would think of as hard...
but in Dave Mirras Frestyle BMX 1, where you have to grind on the rail in pool 1, jump then land/grind on the rail in pool 2.. i cant do it.. ive done all the other stuff in all the maps, with all the characters.. apart from this little mother ******..
Halo - The Library on legendary. God i hated that level.
World 8 in Super Mario 3. God i hated that world.
Zelda 2. The whole game.
edit: i just realized this is an older post and i already mentioned SMB3. still hard, regardless.
