England 2 - 0 Portugal
Rooney with an early goal, believe it or not, Lampard scoring a late one to seal the win. Well..they are due right!? Plus a fortune teller I saw on the street the other day said she has had visions of Beckham lifting the Jules Rimet trophy.
i forget which tournament this was - i'm guessing 2000 Euro's.
but they had a great game between them something like 3-2
i'm hoping for a repeat.
I remember Scholes had a fantastic goal

right
for some reason i already feel like we've lost this
actually i agree with the swamp monster
i think Figo will have a great game and score at least one.
they're moving him back to the inside where he doesn't have to do as much running so he'll have more left in the tank later on and if any of you watched any inter games this past season he can be pretty creative when he wants to.
I'd look for him to score and assist at least - so if you got him on your fantasy team be sure to move him in the starting line-up and captain that mother.
I was rooting for England because I wanted to see Peter Crouch making his robot move. But, alas, he said he won't do it.
Vai ser uma festa portuguesa, com certeza

come on england you bunch of slags!
now a quick question for you english
i notice a lot of times in sports - even for that fag you had at wimbeldon 2 days ago - people always say "Come on (insert name here)!"
is that some kind of a custom? I mean i've never heard it overused so much... why not "Let's go (name)!" or "Give it all you got (name)!"
someone explain.
it rolls off the tongue easier than the two others you mentioned, simple as
Woohoo, Portuguese anthem!!!
Às aaaarmas!
Às aaaarmas!
(somehow, I think this is a great analogy for what's going to happen... I wonder how many players will be there in the end
)
