i think the first 2 minutes (before the vocals come in) are awesome.. send shivers up my spine to the day

It is a tradition for when we go back from snowboarding to listen to 'As the Rush Comes'. I have no idea why, some of them don't even like trance that much.

Posted by *InVeRs3* on Jun-30-2006 04:21:

I liked it a lot and I still listen to it every other day and I probobly will until I die. It never gets old for me. To me, it really sounded different. You just gotta love that juicy kick, that unique sound to that hook, and jes' roguh and sweet voice. I seriously think that you're just an asshole if you hate this song. You're probobly against world peace and love to hurt kittens if you hate this song.

it's an okay tune

Armin van Buuren universal religion remix: simply the best remix by Armin IMHO
Original: nice tune

I'd put a rolleyes there but unfortunately I'm not as cool as you.

I love that attitude

Always enjoyed the Sweeping Strings Mix...never had the pleasure of hearing it live though.

It's not the best track, but it's one of the better productions from G&D...miss their older style.

Posted by eckmek on Jun-30-2006 10:47:

dj_tiesto_-_fly_(3).mp3

is much better!

Posted by Rainborn on Jun-30-2006 11:21:

s3nate'd do next to anything to get these tunes
Elude - Corfu
Echano - Tranquility (plus the third one)

and I pretty much agree.

Anyway, sure, I dig this track a bit... it's ok.

it's cheesy because it's cheesy. always was and always will be. tracks don't become cheesy if they become popular, so i have no idea what you're trying to say actually.

Agree,

This track gets slated a hell of alot, and i can understand why people would hate it.

But i think its a corker.

Not something i could listen to every day, mabye id play once every couple of months, thats how i appreciate it more.

Probably wasnt good enough to warrent the massive exposure it got back in 2003. Was prob the last big commercially successful trance tune and possibly will be the very last tune that gets that much commercial play. The sweeping strings mix was good when it first came out when only the likes of Tiesto had a copy of it and it was sought after. It never really floated my boat i always preferred other vocal tunes to it.

Had to laugh though when Gabriel and Dresden tried to say they "Dont make trance" when they made this and the likes of Arcadia. IF they arnt trance then what exactly are they guys? Gotta love it when producers try to distance themselves from uncool stuf
