ELITIST! YOU ARE ALWAYS NEGATIVE! I HATE YOU!

For me it has to be one of those OLD Paul van Dyk livesets, like Cream Amnesia August 16th 2002... Fuck... One tune after another... 'Club Attack', 'I'm Alone', 'Sunburn', 'I Feel You'. Fuck, when I listen this is in my bed at night I just go crazy, bouncing in my bed. What a party would that have been if I was there to experience it myself live. Sigh... Trance from back in the day... The second half of 2006 is giving me a bit of that old feeling though with tunes like Aerium - Dolphins and Mike Shiver - Morning Drive. Will we ever get our old Trance back??????????????????????????????????????????????

I'd say Sean Tyas's recent sets, cause he will bring uplifting trance back on top.

While on a camping trip on the beach in Costa Rica with friends, the second last day before packin up tent, at around 4 in the morning, I woke up to Boom..Boom..Boom..Boom from a hostel near by, got out my tent and walked out alittle to find some youths Blastin some trancy house parting on the beach (tunes i didn't recognize) and so went over too join in.

The thing is that.....I hadn't heard trance for a week (yes i'm addicted), and too hear it again like that......i was so happy...i almost teared up!! + meeting new people(friends),it's amazing and good times. never to forget.

also for me, to first hear a new track thats absolutely mind blowing.....a smile ear to ear buddy!!
eg..'Nitrous Oxide - North Pole (Original Mix)'

4 Strings - Diving (Hivver and Hammer remix) did the job once too.

Crank the volume up and close your eyes.

I dare you not to cry at the end (when the high strings come in...Holy ****)

Impossible.

Have you heard Joolz Gianni's version?

The saxaphone adds so much emotion to the tune, it's like the whole song is crying. It's so beautiful.

I do the exact same as you mate!

I LOVE listening to music in bed on headphones. It's prolly my fav time to listen to music, it's all you focus on and you literally get engulfed in the sounds. I FUCKING LOVE IT!

The only time a tune has really made me cry was when it was the last day befor going away to university, saying good bye to everyone including my girlfriend at the time, and a track (that granted is quite cheese) called chemical love came on...

The melody is very emotional to me.

I just don't understand how people can cry over music unless they are just trashed out of their mind.

I believe that it's profoundly connected to the current emotional state of the individual, as he/she needs to let them out in some kind of way. This triggers the whole crying thing.

Edit. Which would be the obvious thing to say, yes, but that's all I can think of any way.

I totally agree, after studying abroad last year I got choaked up listening to David Guetta - The World is Mine as the landing gear finally touched down on American soil. Messed up emotions and whatnot.

However, I don't consider K90 - Chemical Love to be 'cheese'. Track has a very summerish feeling to it. I still love it!
