I'm not my brother, I know... don't walk on H2O,
But I got hydroponic shit that me and Judas grow.
...that's just what I think about when I see or hear of Coors Light.

I've been wondering how you americans can drink such a shitty beer as Budweiser. I mean it doesn't even taste like a beer. And BudLight
wtf.

when i go to the liquor store, i just go straight to the import section. american beer is strictly for n00bz. i remember getting drunk with bud-light, mickey's, coors, miller high-lifes, etc....back in high school. but once i turned 21 and was able to buy beer whenever i wanted, i realized that american beer sucks. my favorite beers are from england, ireland & belgium

you do realize thats still not an argument. Thats a list results.
If you are talking about for a little extra cash youd prefer a Killians because its a smoother richer drink with a noticeable malt taste you enjoy then so be it.
But if you are saying that American beer (Which id like to point out isnt trying to be an ale or a lager by any means) is bad because you dont like it... thats just ignorant.
The American pilsner was sent out to become a smooth, crisp, refreshing drink that was eventually responded to the demand that it be drinkable all day long without getting you too fucked up.
If youve ever drank more than 18 Guinness in a night youll know that its quite a different feeling than 18 busch lights.
To say that there is some end all beer, or even variety just goes to show a deep lack of beer experience. There is a reason there are seasonals. And seasonals are not made because only in winter can you get water hops and barley. They are made because during certain times of year people prefer a darker, more robust beer that they will probably be sipping on as opposed to drinking mouthfuls.
They need something that will fill that sip with a complete taste instead of just a hoppy bitterness. These are your winter beers.
Weather, season, time of day, and activity all will factor in to what type of beer is preferred or "ideal". To say that Americans dont know beer when Eastern Washington is one of the largest hops producers in the world and has highest per capita of micro breweries second only to Portland again just shows ignorance.
I know why you might get jaded living on the east coast, because east coast has shit for beer selection for whatever reason, but they are still available and someone who wanted to go to the effort of discovering what the American beer culture is all about could.
Youve taken the quick easy bandwagon instead of recognizing the rich culture surrounding a nation of immigrants who have all brought their own beer styles and traditions into play.
Very disheartening.

If I dont want a full stomach, I go for Budlight, but if I wanna get drunker quicker, I go for Budweiser.

almost true
imo the commercial american beers are by far the worst in the world, but some of the microbrews are among the best.....
im biased though, as the american microbrews seem to be the only ones that make strong beer. All the cheap shit just tastes watered down.

how is what I said almost true?
if someone qualifies the statement and says, "American macrobrews are shit." i have no problem with that but to say any beer brewed in america is crappy beer is just silly.
and I agree with your statement (save for the almost true bit
)
edit: this is mason on walker's account

I went to this brewery in Fort Worth, TX that had about 100 diff kinds of brews from all over the world, but i decided to try the local one from this brewery right there in fort worth, but i completely forgot what it was. it was really good though.
mainstream american beers suck by the way. coorslight and all that watered down shit...it seriously gives me the worst stomach ache the next day if i drink that crap, which is why i don't.
i'm a heineken girl, but i'm always down to dry a new beer.
