This tune is great. Usually I HATE this kind of ASOT sound, but this tune is an e xception for me. Excellent work!

What can i say? Laurent Veronnez did it again!!! Again a BRILIANT track which bring you to the other world! Also nice to hear some elements from Ferry Tayle (especialy the clap is his work i think). Such tracks make me proud that i'm so trance addicted

Cape Town had a wicked tune a long time ago on this comp. from Christopher Lawrence I have.

I haven't heard this new one yet, but I will shortly!

Posted by Haak on Jul-12-2006 16:44:

hehe, it sounds like binary finary - 1998

Posted by humilis on Jul-13-2006 07:02:

Sounds average ASOT track. Not bad melody, though. I don't like that cheesy arp.

Posted by skip on Jul-16-2006 07:16:

it's an ok tune but in no way anything special. dunno what people hear in it.

Ha Ha Ha INDEED!!!!ALMOST IDENTICAL NOTES-SAME RIFF!!!ROFL...

Aren't they bored copying each other yet FGS???This can only impress a young trance addict, not someone who was there from the end of the 90s.It looks like that creativity has completely died in this (sub)genre.

The threadstarter knows more about trance than you will in your entire life

This track is very epic, and quite original.

no it's actually not the slightest original I must say. It's not bad but it's like "been there done that". Expected more from L-vee but then again his latest Airwave album was probably the biggest disapointment I've heard in years.

Posted by Ian on Jul-18-2006 18:20:

it's nice by current standards

are we on about the same track? i thought it sounded more like york - farewell to the moon

i agree it pales next to most older airwave stuff. escape from nowhere, save me, above the sky, also bodyshock - sleepless, meridian - area 99... i can't see any of his new stuff beating them

although this isn't bad, won't go down in the classic books but it's nice enough by today's standards as ian says. quite floaty, would make a decent peaktime set opener

Posted by chojin on Jul-19-2006 09:02:

the tunes really pretty, i like it

First time I hear it I thought 1998 as well

Decent track, but rather overrated imo

The fact that it borrows the same chord-progression from Cinema, and the 1998-esque melody shows that people are running out of ideas.

Posted by kr00t0n on Jul-19-2006 11:04:

Gah, this seems to be happening more and more

Main melody from George Acosta feat. Truth - The Other Side (Signalrunners Remix) sounds far too much like that of Free State - Release

The fact that it has bits that sound alot like 2 others says otherwise

good tracks are actually still released that sound better than this. Side-A - Synopsys 1.1 and Jaa - Last Call for instance. Very melodic tunes which are wonderful.

still not hearing it the first two chord changes are the same & that's pretty much where it ends, nothing like similar enough to be classed as a ripoff imo. say both tracks were in the key of A, 1998 would be AAABCCCCCCCDEEEE, whereas this would be AAABCCCCEEEEDDDD (1 letter = 2 beats). listen to york - farewell to the moon, or chakra - home (above & beyond remix).. proglifter is alot more similar to those two

plus the chords in proglifter have more harmony to them than in 1998, the mood is totally different.. again imo
