A big part of finding yourself, I think is just beeing comfortable in your own skin. Not taking everything that others say to heart. Knowing what you believe and sticking to it. Not selling out to fit in. Be your own person. Don't get me wrong, I have a very long journey to go, but I feel that since last year, my real adventure has begun. Hope to share these rides with great friends.

If you're talking about pavlov's pyramid of needs then the top stage is self actualization...
...I think that is a different thing than what most people call "finding themselves".

To me finding myself means growing into the person that I want to become as far as which direction i want to take in my life.

Self actualization, the way that pavlov defines it is something that very few people ever achieve, it involves not only finding yourself but being at peace with all aspects of your life.

Once you get there, you have no idea how happy you will be. Until then, you can still be happy though.

This past weekend, I made a note that I am very happy being the age I am now. I have learned so much from my experiences in my life and I am continuously learning. I don't think that will ever change.

The nice thing is that I know who I am and what drives me to accomplish things in life. I am one with my imperfections and am not willing to compromise on them anymore. If that is finding yourself, then I guess I have. But I still feel that I will learn alot about how I deal with problems and emotions in the years to come. I feel that I am still growing.
