Thank you everyone....you are all truly awesome...it has definately been great getting to know each and every one of you. Well I am just getting ready to head out to Guv so I should be there around 1 - 1:30....this will be the start of a 12 hour marathon dance session. I only wish I had gotten some sleep since thursday...oh well....a little sleep deprevation never hurt anyone

Right, so I've already wished you a happy birthday a few times but one more can't hurt.

You know, looking back on all the years I sometimes have trouble understanding why it is we are so close. We certainly had our fair share of falling outs and even knock down, drag out fights as kids. I've got scars in several locations (mainly on my head) thanks to you and I know that there are times in the past that I've hurt you both physically and emotionally. In many ways we are very different people. Our parents didn't really instill in us any great sense of family or set any type of example based on their own relationships with their siblings. So why is it that we are so close? I think it's because we have chosen to be. We've chosen to look past our past, petty conflicts. We've chosen to disregard what makes us different and focus on what unites us. We've chosen to be genuinely concerned for each other's welfare and happiness. We've chosen to be more then two people who share parents, we've chosen to be the closest of friends.

Why did we make those choices? I can't fathom to guess why you have but I know I have my reasons. You are in many ways the person I wish I were, in many ways you are the person I believe all people should be. You're kind, generous, patient, slow to anger, quick to help, thoughtful, funny, responsible, humble (to a fault almost), and above all else you embrace all the good life has to offer while accepting but not dwelling on the bad that comes with it. Like a good big brother should you stand as an example and guide to show me how to achieve all those attributes I lack but wish I had. At my wedding I said "you're not only my best man but THE best man." I meant that, in my eyes you are the very best of what a man should be. Yes, I have my reasons for why I've chosen to love you and I thank you for giving me each and every one of them.
