Nat, again I apologize for how many times I touched your boob.

I had a good time at CoZo this weekend. I agree, it was tamer than usual in terms of the energy in there. But what it lacked in the energy it made up in creepy guys. lol!

The second I was in there, I got a big hug from some guy that I did not know. He held on so tight and thanked me for coming.

Another dude said he sees me there all the time.

Third creep was sitting at the top of the patio stairs and asking every girl what her name was. Or asking the guy she was with what her name was. God, he must really be good at remembering names.

The slapstick comedy of a guy falling in the back was some of the funniest stuff I saw. He was walking normally then tripped and fell over a table. Then same guy, was standing still and fell again onto a table. Surreal. Then his friend decides to remove his shirt and undo his pants and start dancing.

The weirdest thing was the man dressed as a women doing themselves up in the middle of the dancefloor. Hairbrush, toothbrush, make-up, constantly looking through the purse...surreal again.

Sarah, it was a pleasure hanging out with you at the zone. I am glad that I was there for your first time. Surprisingly, you fit in perfectly . I still need to learn morse code so we can talk.

Thank you everyone that made it out. The CoZo is not fun if your friends aren't there.

that was my first time last night, and altho it was sketchy... and filled with guys (that one two occasions grabbed my ass... *so violated) i enjoyed the music for sure. deko and scum layed down some awesome music.
just a few questions though.. i had heard storys of CZ since my first days at Guv. and i honestly expected to walk down stairs into a sess pool of absolute filth and utter darkness.
but it was fairly clean, and fairly bright inside.
is it always that bright?
is it always that clean?
or was last night just a special occasion due to DJ's?

1. CZ starts every morning spotless. I had the privilege to open CZ with only a handful of others inside the club and was very impressed with the cleanliness and tidiness of the venue. The floors were shiny, all the tables and chairs in straight rows and everything was in perfect order. How long it stays that way is a whole different story.

2. It was very bright for the first few hours. We made a suggestion to the management to darken it up a little and they did. If you stayed for Mr. Barato's set - it was DARK!

Bright? I have never seen it bright in there. I gotta remember to bring a flashlight next time, for real.

No need to apologize. Everyone does it, and I don't even notice it. Next time I see you out, can I fondle you and blame it on my state of mind?

Glad you guys had fun. I was planning on coming but forgot to set my alarm and woke up around noon. booourns!

After a drama filled night I really didn't feel like going to this but I had promised Sarah I would. Got there and made sure I got her into CZ before she could back out. Had a great time there thanks to Graham, RJ, Margaret, Nat (get Jesse to get his list in earlier when he's playing the Zone), and of course Sarah.

Sarah - "OMG i'm at fu**ing Comfort Zone" followed by high 10's - you did that to me at least 5 times within 2 minutes at one point.

Goodtimes

Dekoze's set at the beginning was phenomenal. Scumfrog was alright. I am not a big fan of his style of house.

Good to meet a few new people, and of course the usual faces. As has been said, CoZo isn't fun without friends.

it's safe to say that the bumper effect happens to SP DS and TG!

the frog was great, Deko-zes set was phenominal. from the moment i got there after having a shitty nite of babysitting at sonic, the vibe brought back the buzz i had. was good to see you guys again. Ta's i 'd just met, and ones i'd met before.. Skipper.. you need to go to the zone more often... your hilarious. the 4 hours or so i was at the zone completly made up for the lack of fun i had at sonic.

Ghostbusters Ftw!

first time hearing the scumfrog and was very impressed...deko-ze was great as always...nice seeing some t.a.'s...and was fun at v-lounge earlier for miss mixington's birthday...

with the zone you get good crowds and sometimes scary crowds...sunday was a good crowd and allot of fun...they even replaced the evil bouncer that usually swears at everyone in line...i still don't know why people slip the door guy $20 to walk right in...he must have made $200 in the short time that i stood in line...i'll wait the 15 minutes and save my money thanks

were you out on the dance floor near the dj booth nat? i rarely wander out there...i prefer to lurk in the shadows when at the zone or hang near the back where the couches are...gettin old so less bopping and more sitting

I'm always up front. I have bad memories of the back area from years back, and can't bring myself to wander in there.

I saw him at Pasha, NYC as well...

He seems good with his style but I dun see myself hearing a long set from him...

His beats are dirty but those who seemed to be enjoying him were really sketched out...not my thing...

The football ambience in the club was kinda cool though, so were the drummers...

This is a rocking set made by the Scumfrog very recently... I love almost every track on this set- which is quite rare and hard to find... Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. =)

Hahahahaha +1

I had a great time at Zone. Good people and good music. Scumfrog definatly impressed me...his set was a lot better than last time he was at the Zone.

Song of the night...errrr...morning:

CRANK - Max Graham

I just about crapped my pants when he played this. I heard this in Deep Dish's most recent set from Dance Valley and never thought I'd actually hear it played. It came on and I jumped up on the ledge in front of the DJ and danced right in front of Jesse.
