LOL peter.
no i know..everyone has their opinions.

i like pauls style, an also john's/

but yeah! they both play nice tracks.
and yeah, maybe john plays more 'trance' than PVD does, ya know.
so i dun' think u can compare em! they are both uniqe, with their own style!

i luv em both!

NO ADELAIDE???!!!

Posted by stipsy on Mar-20-2002 13:13:

im guessing voadafone arena...should attract bout 6000 ppl...im pretty sure this would mean AT LEAST a 4 hour set

melbourne rocks!

What was that? Clubbing capital of the southern-hemisphere you say? Damn straight, my friend, damn straight......

But just quickly, why are they holding it at Vodaphone Arena? Surely they could hold it at QBH (which has a similar capacity)? It'd have to be cheaper wouldn't it? No setting up audio/lighting equipment, no permits need to be bought from the Tennis Centre admin etc etc...... ah well, whatever. You could stick Paul Van Dyk in my shed and I'd still pay $50 to see him.

Yeah, seems like Adelaide have been stooged when it comes to the big name DJ's yet again...... you're just going to have to come over here again I guess. It could be worse though I suppose. Think yourself lucky you don't live in Darwin or something......

Posted by stipsy on Mar-20-2002 14:49:

hey mate how are you...vodafone main room fits 5000 (6000 im lead to beleive) on the floor...more than double qbh capacity (2500) and thats comfortably as well opposed to the squash last year at qbh

Posted by Simon00 on Mar-21-2002 06:35:

pvd-@home

Im not sure how many people they will pack in home but it will be too many. If i had the choice id go down to melb and go see him at the tennis centre. Sadly i don't have the choice, im flying to los angeles that morning. A flying visit by the look of it 3 nights only, perth, syd and melb. Oh the life of a dj. Do you think he'll squeeze in a visit to healsville and pat a koala? Maybe you could give him a tour pete!

Posted by =alphabeta= on Mar-21-2002 09:09:

hehehe...yah yah let him pat a koala

hey nervous...LA sounds nice, whatya goin there
for (if u dont mind me askin )

If they hold the Melb concert at Melb Park, wld be
wikkid if they had some other intl acts,,but if
not i guess PvD will have to do hehehe j/k

I rather would have one or two Top int Djs for a 4Hr or longer set each, instead lots of'em for tiny 2hr or less sets. Longer sets can reveal what a DJ can do or what he's capable for and fans get it to da MAX. Like the last Digweed set at the Docks 5 f@#kin hours maaan and not a boring moment! Crowd loved it!!!!!I can tell you that, I loved 2Tribes but loved Digweed's 5Hr set even more.

Imagine Tiesto or J00F spinning for 5 hours front of a huge crowd WAOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. I hope PVD gonna do that!!!!!

Posted by =alphabeta= on Mar-21-2002 21:23:

Oh Oh Oh Yeah yeah

i wasnt thinkin of havin somethin like TT (althought
wldnt be bad )...i totally agree wit ya some nice long sets
will be awesome..what i was saying i guess in a round about way is i
hope it aint just PvD and lotsa local DJs (nothin agst locals..they need the support)but it wld be nice to have 2 massive intl acts
ie PvD and......mmmm.....Marco V(that wld be nice...yeah!!!!

get ma point
cheers

Posted by =alphabeta= on Mar-21-2002 22:02:

Call me a complete utter wanker if ya like!! hehe

But i waz just checkin out PvD offical site about where/what hes up to
...now as we know he is comin but venues are yet to be advised
however......

11.05.2002 Melbourne Kabuli 3.0
10.05.2002 Sydney TBC
09.05.2002 Perth tbc
...............
WTF is Kabuli..sorry but bein an out-of-towner but what/where/what is
this place ...sounds like the capital of Afganistan!!!!

Were headin for a warzone (prob are...if its as good as i hope)

any info apprec
cheers....

prev experience tells me either stips, renegade or helen will tell
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Posted by stipsy on Mar-22-2002 00:12:

kabuki...is hardware

Posted by =alphabeta= on Mar-22-2002 03:03:

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGGGGG

thanx mate...ok venue for PvD???

what ya reckon, not to tight a squeeze
cos ill prob come over, but aint been at Hardware
only heard bout it!!

Cheers mate

Posted by Renegade on Mar-22-2002 03:52:

I always though Hardware was just an event, not actually a venue?

Oh well, I'm confused. Just give me Paul Van Dyk and a square foot of dancefloor to go nuts in and I'll be happy.

Posted by Tranceilvania on Mar-22-2002 03:59:

Hardware is actually a company who organizes Electronic music shows or raves. I thought Kabuki is a musical style or a CD album which is adopted or performed by PvD!!!! I'm confused too mate!!!????

InFo:
HARDWARE CORP.

Posted by =alphabeta= on Mar-22-2002 08:39:

Now i bloody confused

Hardware - is an event organiser ..correct
........as for Kabuki..im gettin lost..heheh

Hey Stipsy we need ya expertise AGAIN
clear things up for us mate...please

Posted by Tranzmit on Mar-22-2002 11:48:

I'll be there!! I've never seen PVD so this oughtta rock! Any other Sydney TA's Gonna go to this?

Posted by stipsy on Mar-23-2002 00:12:

ok....kabuki is a subsiduary of hardwarecorp...the use the kabuki name when the party they are doing is not a techno party. (so in simple words..kaubki is just another word for hardware)

hardware only does a one or two kabuki parties a year..and one of those is the annual pvd gig
