As a Spain fan, Fernando Torres was without a doubt the best player for me, Cesc had a good World Cup, David Villa and Sergio Ramos too.

My best XI would be:
Buffon
Zambrotta
Cannavaro
Ferdinand
Sergio Ramos
Gattuso
Pirlo
Rosicky
Zidane
Fernando Torres
Klose

I didnt necessarily mean those were the best eleven players at the WC, just the eleven I liked the most based on their performances

And what other attacking midfielder played the way Rosicky played in that game consistently throughout the WC, none come to mind for me anyway

I had the most joy from seeing MESSI play

Let's say, you've never seen Messi or you have seen him, but he doesn't play in Barcelona, would you still have liked him?

Or he plays at Real Madrid?

Kaka scored one goal and played well in one game

Perotta played average, nothing special, and isnt really much of an attacking threat

Ballack had a decent tournament, but produced nowhere near his usual standards

Riquelme had a decent tournament and provided a couple of assists, but some might argue he is the root problem in the Argentinian team, he only has one dimension

Maxi Rodriguez had a really good tournament, I'll give you that one

Cristiano Ronaldo was another decent one, but again failed to create anything special

Ze Roberto had a good tournament, but again not mind-blowing

Ribery played consistently decent, but again failed to produce at crucial times

Schweinsteiger was one of the biggest disappointments in the tournament, he didnt even show up until the 3rd place playoff

Your chosen few don't outclass Rosicky by much if anything, on your bike son

Ronaldo played great (minus his diving). goals dont measure a players worth.

Ribery was crucial to France in getting them to the final. he scored the first goal that gave france the equalizer and boosted their confidence for the rest of the match where they would go on to win 3-1. he played equally great in the later matches.

Just because their teams progressed further, doesn't mean they had a better World Cup

rosicky had 33% great games, 66% shit games. now take your conclusions.

Christ your hard work aren't you.

Rosicky had one good game, the rest played more, better games than rosicky's 1.
