This is just another proof that FIFA is more than clueless about football.

These rankings are totally diminishing (spell check) the value of the WC... just so absurd, if you win the WC simply you are the best team, period. Sure someone will say but this X country plays better and they would or could beat Italy, sure spare me the details, what matters is that Italy won it and that's the end of it.

I seriously wonder what's the link between Nike and FIFA.. ever since Nike took charge of Brazil's jerseys they have been ranked #1, even when France ownified them in WC 98 and yet again after this WC... Complete joke these rankings.
