i love the nitro machine but trying to match it to the music. BAD IDEA! a few well timed blasts are perfect. same with the horn. and only at trance events!!

That ruins everything.

At PVD in June 2004 they played the sound during the breakdown of crush. PVD just stood there in digust, it was hilarious. I still say thats why he hasn't been back to toronto !

You can hear that nitro in live sets from other clubs and I've heard it when its done right. Just sounds like another layer of the music.

Most times at the Guv, it was not done right.

Same with the horn, sometimes good, sometimes bad.

For Zabiela, that would be BAD.

+1

I can recall many times where I almost fall off of the front of the stage because of that stupid horn.

I'm neutral on this one ... it's the "sweat rains" that I hate

Posted by starsearcher on Jul-14-2006 19:56:

I think it's awesome but only if they don't overdo it and if they turn it on at the right time

Posted by Sasha on Jul-14-2006 19:57:

it's not sweat... it's the milk. blame Jeff

Posted by dallastar on Jul-14-2006 19:59:

i don't really mind this - I always think that it gets the crowd going - which is GREAT!

HAHA....

maybe that's why he doesn't come back to TO anymore.

Posted by Sasha on Jul-14-2006 20:29:

meh. he just doesnt like the breast milk

Posted by shanny on Jul-14-2006 20:41:

Oh Holy Fuck you've touched upon a sensitive issue with me...

I hate that thing.

Not only is it exclusively used at the most inopportune times, it fucking scares the bejesus out of me when it goes on.

For the precise reason that it is used at the wrong moments, you are not expecting it and it bursts your eardrums with suckiness as you shit your pants.

I was petitioning weeks ago that it be banned forever.

I'm going to break into guv and burn it one day.

i absolutely hate this noise, for one, its always many decibels way over the music thats playing, you feel like you're going to go deaf when its sounded, and when they play it on the break of a song, it completely ruins the intensity of the buildup. (becuase of the above reason that its always much louder than the music)

on a side note, the guy up there has way to much fun trying to make music with the nitro machine to the point where its like, wholey shit, stop it.

but i'm wondering, does anyone actually like that sound?

i think it is completely unnecesssary. dislike it.

however, i very much hate the hissing noise that is generated while making the smoke. it is sharp and lasts long enough to make me uncomfortable :-/
