I played this at my friends's place the other day. I could immediatly tell some of the major improvements of CivIII (which i played for a while - solo and online). The UI is much better and I liek the fac tthat it gives you more details.

I have all four, but my favorite is still 3... don't know why. 4 is too hard to learn, and I haven't really commited myself to it.

Played 3 for like 4 hours yesterday though...

I bought it the day it came out and all I can say is it's a good thing it ran like shit on my computer. My TA addiction would pale in comparison to Civ.

11 years on and I'm still happy playing Civ 2. I tried III but never got over the learning curve. If anyone in NYC wants my copy of Civ IV, PM me and it's yours.
