Um guys, you do know there are 2 "Orgasmatron" mixes, right? all of you mention only one of them but there were two!!! both are absolutely amazing..... Nu-NRG rule

O how I love Nu Nrg. So sad they split up or whatever. I like the old Nu Nrg productions better than the new Giuseppe Ottaviani ones. The recent release of Last Experience (Giuseppe Ottaviani) remix was a bit disappointing because the remix did not have the massive synth and energy that the old one had.

Just check out Butterfly, Supersonik Way, Dreamland etc. Nu Nrg rock. Also Nu Nrg - Visual Sonar is a very beautiful song.

and yes that would be wonderful to hear some samples of the lesser known nu nrg tracks.

All this talk makes me want to go buy the nu nrg t-shirt off their web site

I was just wondering is Nu NRG - Supersonik Way the same song as The Moon feat. Nu NRG - Supersonic? As I'm just a bit confused about this awesome track! Giuseppe hasn't confirmed, I don't think, that he's no longer going to work with Andrea Ribeca? I guess time will tell? Btw you get a shirt for Nu NRG, where, I must have one! Though the first thing I wanna get of Nu NRG is their Freefall CD? How would you guys rate it out of ten or need I even ask! :P

So is Nu-NRG still around, or is it down to one eponymous artist? I wonder this because poppy full-on psytrance seems to fill the niche that Tinrib left when they went to the great fishbowl in the sky.

Saw them back in '04, closing out the main room at a massive after Ferry, Marco, and WoW. They were meh. Nothing special.

Giuseppe said in an interview at tranceunited that he doesn't really think Nu Nrg will take place on the scene again.

Nu Nrg's website is

nunrg.it/

I own Freefall, Id rate it at 8.5/10

Nu NRG the group (confusingly) has nothing to do with Nu-NRG the genre.

What? That's fucking odd. It makes me think of a cheeky name for one of those proggy duos - Sasha & Digweed, D-Nox & Beckers... Country & Western.

Well, as long as we can still pronounce it "new nurgh" it's all good.

Posted by Gauss on Sep-12-2006 19:30:

I pronounce it 'nu energy'. How do you pronounce 'nurgh' anyway?

Posted by lazy chick on Sep-12-2006 20:08:

its definately supposed to be

new energy

Uh, nurgh? Was that a Tinrib-era thing? I never knew anyone pronounced it that way.

Posted by basilisk on Sep-13-2006 19:11:

Yeah it's Nu-NRG, pronounced like "ICEBERG" - all you cats got it wrong. It isn't about "energy" it's about the grunt you make when you're really tossin' it.
