That's the way I see it. It's black or white IMO.

I don't understand people who use drugs on parties: don't they like just the music enough? I can enjoy without drugs or something

Do you drink, take medication? Have you ever done drugs?

If you've never done any drugs, wouldn't it be not your place to determine why people do them?

If I didn't drink and called everyone who drank 'dirty' I think you'd see some very angry people.

The drugs I do are quite safe, and one in particular 'mushrooms' have been used for thousands of years in religious ceremonies. Would you call native indians dirty? the mayans? the Aztecs?

People do drugs for the same reason they go sky diving, river rafting, compete in sports, etc... Its an experience.

For those of you who have done drugs there's also one other big thing that happens to many who use drugs, seeing a different 'persception' on life.. Makes you look at many things very differently and gives you some new perspective on things. For me that has been the biggest thing to come out of using mushrooms

One question for the Christians, what are your thoughts then on Athiests? Are we mis-guided, the devils people, etc... Will we goto hell even if we live a moral and just life?

IMO: People take drugs for the effect that it gives them. Not because the music isn't good enough. Just like people drink because of how it makes them feel. It doesn't make anyone less of a person, or 'dirty'. Yes drugs are bad for you, but in moderation, I don't think its a big deal. They can enhance an experience and make it more pleasurable in a way that most nothing else can. I'm not saying 'hey YOU should do drugs!', I'm only saying its a matter of personal preference.

I totally agree with Thor as well.

When I listen to music "under the influense" I become able to understand and appreciate it better. But that does not in any way mean that Ive got any sort of problems appreciating trance while sober. I spend about 6 - 7 hours a day listening to music and I dont do drugs on a daily or weekly basis. Trance is great by it self. Its just that you, as Thor says, see things from a different perspective. You really got to experience it to understand what its all about (Not that Im trying to get anyone to use drugs or anything, its just a matter of fact).

Im born christian btw, but not religious beyond beeing a member in the swedish church.

Hi Biznology.

Protestantic Christianity (I think thats what its called in english) is religious to those with strong religious beliefs. They go to church, take part in the Communion, pray and all of that, so I would call it religious. I and the majority of the swedish population are christian and members of the swedish church, but without beeing a bit religious ourselves. If youre not a member you dont get to have a cristian marrige or have a funeral in church, thats why we dont quit the membership and stop paying the church tax

Posted by TimeportE on Mar-06-2002 21:03:

i'm a christian..
but when i read the thread about GODD's lyrics beeing offence i just didn't care.. i really don't think that they are offence, me believing in a god ..

no its all good.. hmm to basically sum it up, heres a breif idea.. if you want more details PM me

we beleieve in God, that God is good, and what not. Basically it is the folloiwing of jesus' teachings, and healing by prayer instead of medication. So I have never taken a shot or anything in my life, and I solely rely on prayer.. that is real frigen brief, but I hope it made a little bit of sense to you

biznology, you can say what you know about it.. I'd like to hear

Posted by Damo on Mar-07-2002 05:04:

for those people in this thread who just said they're christian... do you practice the religion in any way or you just go along with whatever you were born into without any concious belief?

btw, the only higher power i believe in is balance.

Posted by matts on Mar-07-2002 05:36:

Damo: I was born as a Christian and have practiced it since. I chose to stay with God because there have been too many miracles and answered prayers in my life to not believe that God doesn't exist. That is where my conscious belief comes from.
