ok thx for the help.

Hey, can you tell me EXACTLY what you want to learn?!
I'm very musical myself, and would like to be able to help you, but don't exactly understand what it is you want to know?
b = flat
# = sharp etc?
Is that the kind of thing you're after?

I've got the perfect solution!
Go find a friend who can read, a piano and a video camera. Ask your friend to play slowly.
I guess you know what to do from here
Yes, i want to learn to read music, i got the sheet music but i dont know where the notes are.
this is how i learned to play coldplay - speed of sound
and a few more.
i know where a,b,c...etc. are, thats it :P

Well the keys on a piano are A,B,C,D,E,F,G and they just repeat. A sharp (#) is the next key to the right and a flat (b) is the next key to the left. They can be black or white keys. So Cb (c flat) is a B. Or maybe it's the other way around, I forgot

There ya go.
tnx, that helps.
what about when the notes are connected together, by 2s or 3s?
and what kind of note is an outline of a circle/oval...?
every good boy does fine

OK, the notes lengths
The 'circle' as you call it, properly known as a Breve is 4 beats
Breve with a line coming up (or down) is a minum - 2 beats
Black filled breve with a line coming up (or down) is a crotchet = 1 beat
Quaver = 1/2 beat
Semi-quaver = 1/4 beat
Demi-semi quaver - 8th of a beat
Hemi-demi-semi quaver = 16th of a beat!
If there is a . after the note, you add on half its length again.
So a minim with a . after it is 3 beats.
This is regardless of time signature etc...
