well it's better than nothing.
Stupid Islanders - as if our tourism is lacking as it is.
im already in contact with city hall and the police. Once i get the details from them on what to do ill pass that on. Id like to strike while the iron (the media) is hot. So the sooner the better. Hopefully tomorrow but more than likely thurs or fri.
BTW i want this to be the least disruptive as possible. I know that personally whenever someone's protest disrupts my daily life they usually automatically lose my support. I think disrupting people's lives is the most negative thing we could do. Lets stand there with signs and hope the media shows up. Lets be on our best behaviour and speak intelligently. No swearing and no stupid comments. Thats the absolute best way to influence people who may not otherwise care.

| Originally posted by Jayx1 I say we organize a rally. Its time to rally and support our scene with a good old fashioned protest. I say we get this going both here and on Tribe and stage a protest either at city hall or at the ferry terminals at the foot of bay st. its time we stop letting these assholes push us around. Im serious about this as long as we get enough committment from people. I dont work for the docks. In fact they are the competition. But this could eventually put me out of work later on down the road as well so i must support them. for me its my paycheque. For you its your right to enjoy the lifestyle you choose to live. Who is with me? |
how about nobody gets Tiesto? That way everybody wins
I say we call it the complaints against the complainers association..
Or CACA for short hahahahha

I saw the news and knew TAs would be sobby over this... OH the injustice of it all!
Let's frame this whole debate once again, shall we?
YOUR right to get fucked up and dance at a waterfront megaclub VS 400 Island residents getting some fucking peace and quiet!
No wonder they're irritable; have you ever gone without sleep, perpetually? WITHOUT chemical assistance?
All right, that's enough trolling. I'd be pissed off too if it weren't a crappy mainstream EDM superclub
y'arr!
