for what its worth, heres my 2 cents...
The site itself is fantastic, there is not too much info being presented and not too much clutter.
The design is mediocre, I dont mind it, but I think it could be much better. The colors, although many like em, are too dark IMO. I think maybe a white and the brown on the www.dune.de site would be cool, or grey.. just something different, ya know. Baby blue on white would be tight too. Anyways, a change in the colors would be refreshing at the least.
The graphics could use an overhaul. I agree with some of the comments about "unprofessional," but its not like this site really needs to be that way. Its all about asthetics though and i think some of the graphics here need a change. As far as the logo goes, i like things simple, and ahgain, thats my opinion, but it just makes things seem a lot less cluttered. The world map with Tranceaddict on it above is really sweet IMO.
Anyways, overall I love this site, but a few cosmetic changes could make it a lot better. Please dont flame me for my opinion, I understand that its hard to please everybody... I'm only tryin to help!
Swamper: If u want/need any help in the design, graphics or anything I would be honored do some work to make TA.com a better place. I have about 6 years of HTML/Web design experience and about 8 years of photoshop experience. Needless to say, I could do a lot for ya. But its up to you, man.

eeeeeeyyyy, baby blue if my fav color. 
I know that would be hard to read, but i still like those 2 colors together... I have a really heavy work schedule this week, Ill maybe do somethin this weekend.

Sort the links out down the side, and i like frames, but most people dont like them. But keep going mate
organize the links?? how so? keep in mind its only to get a feel for what it could possible look for... fonts can all be changes, colors, anything, i just like frames like you. makes things a lot easier.

Links for your design are all different sizes, just make the site look simple, and it looks good. Dont go over the top. Anyway just keep the site as it is, as long as the trance keeps comming, that is all that matters

i prefer the shades of black/blue because, well if you have seen pictures of me kitted out in cyber gear hehe you will see i prefer those colours, and i think the are the best "trancey" colours

Compare the # of instances where you actually quote a picture as compared to when you quote text?
I think the added value of having a compressed quote area with higher contrast colors makes for a better experience when viewing long threads (especially when ppl quote the ENTIRE post instead of the section their reply specifically pertains to)
yeah the green makes it stand out more rather than the 2 bold lines, a good idea!

I dont give a F*CK if the design is good or bad. I think the content of the webpage is good and the forum is excellent. One thing that slows down the forum a bit is that some ppl tend to have several huge pictures as sign in every single post. a bit annyoing I think personally....
