is UM in the Ivy League, my point exactly its not, so I'm still the only one going to an Ivy League school and sorry to say but UM isn't in many ways more respected than Dartmouth

Not true at all, you don't have enough information to put use it in circular logic beacuse if you were gonna use circular logic in that situation you would have to see me a few times and then if I act like an asshole all those times then you say that i'm an asshole all the time from your point

Your correct. Circular logic would be to say:

Your an asshole cause I don't know you well enough, and I don't know you well enough because your an asshole.

What I did was use inconclusive logic, which is to base an opinion without enough evidence to draw a good conclusion.

This is my first year @ Unviersity of illinois studying finance,
and I am loving it! 18 thousand guys, (a few of whom aren't too bad lookin) DSL connection, three day weekend each week, and Club Tonic that spins trance all night long. Fighting Illini won the BIG TEN championship in Football AND basketball, you can guess how crazy we're going here~!!

maybe dartmouth is a good school because people say it is but i think you're going to be bored out of your mind there for lack of party scene and the excessive nerdage that occupies that region. Have fun being a nerd!

I agree with you on that, and I said that you were an asshole beacuse you said "your an asshole beacuse I don't know you" thats why, but whatever sorry I started this

and wookieslut I don't think I will be bored out of my mind, there are still parties and what not and I won't be a nerd there and I could honestly somewhat not care beacuse when I go to college I care more about my future than partying.

College is an experience to gain many thinggs.

Education and "Life Experiences" (I.E. Drugs, Booze, Women) need to be balanced accordingly.

Yeah, it's called "Blueberry Hill" and it's not really a pub, sort've a restaurant/cafe chill type place. Kinda not really my hang out. I usually just go to the student center upstairs :P. And if your friends come to York to JUST hang out there, damn...come and SAVE them from the place...I could understand if it was to party at a pub nite cause those are decent (if you're bored and there aren't any REAL parties going on) then that's different.

Awright, about this whole dartmouth/asshole thing... am I an asshole? No. Did I get an offer to go to Dartmouth? yes. I seriously wanted to go there or Brown, but decided against it because Dartmouth is way too small and Brown is really only a Liberal Arts college, which is fine and dandy, but I want to do some engineering ATM.... The reason I decided to apply to state schools is because they offer everything I need: people, broad range of classes, and loads of experiences to be had. I dont think there is anything wrong with any ivy league school or the kids who go there, but there isnt anything wrong with people that don't go to ivy league schools, so dont argue about that shit. It's just not worth it. At any rate, even with an offer from D-mouth, I got postponed at Madison... go figure that??

DarkTrance: Why bother bragging like that, colleges can be as good or bad as you make them. Just because you are going to Dartmouth doesn't mean that you're any smarter or better than anyone else here. This isn't the place to honor yourself, it's a place to have fun and talk and learn. So why can't we all be brothers (and sisters?)

So I don' know/care about what's going on with this darmouth thread up there, but I stopped caring about it 10 threads ago.
As for College, I go to Tulane in New Orleans.It's bit expensive, but the liqour laws are as lax as it gets in the US, there's a shit load of parties with free liqour, it warm 300+ days out of the year, and the trance scene is pretty fucking good.
On the downside, there's a shit load of crime down here and tourists think this town is one giganitc toilet bowl.

I've lived in Boulder for quite a while too, it's a nice place, but it's a lot cooler if you're 21, or preffer smoking hooner.

No, they all go to York, but from what I hear, they spend much more time @ Blueberry's then they do in class
