Yea, just do a low level format of the hard disk, take off the sides, put a fan on ur comp, and dont install starting up shit, =)

k well im not getting the nasty freezing now, but even with like 71% resources, lotsa HD space, and nothing else running im getting those little split-second glitches as i go thru the recording..
from like 50-minutes to the end, every 64 beats or so theres a quick skip (not a GAP like before) in the recording..

this is different, kinda like before i got hte RAM... why?

Before you added the 512mb of RAM what did you have(was it 128mb etc..)and is it still in the pc? You could be using two completely diffrent types of RAM, one could be Dimm and the other might be DDR and did you make sure the motherboard can handle over 512Mb or what amount of RAM you have !

The 512mb might also be damged as you said

I thought u dont' use cpu idle, and I thought u didn't have a aluminum case, and I thought ur temps were around the mid 40s..
