OK, well... First of all, I don't really like PPK (by the way, they visit these forums sometimes, and I guarantee you they saw this thread
)
The quality simply doesn't compare with European Trance.
"Resurrection" was stolen (ahem, borrowed) from the Russian movie "Sibiriada". Basically these guys are a one-hit wonder where the hit wasn't even theirs. Plus I don't like the melody of "Resurrection."
Why don't we have any Russians who would write GOOD and innovative Euro-Trance? Where's the Russian equivalent of Belgian M.I.K.E./Push, British Sunscreem, Dutch Armin van Buuren?
Although, I will say this: Russian pop-dance music is very melodic and accessible, much more melodic than in the West. That's a big plus, I think.

I know that dude is well-known in London 'caz they ADORE acid there, and Android made some crazy shit together with Guy McAffer and Chris Liberator himself! Honestly, I think he is one of the best russian, errrr now canadian actually, techno producers out there. The guy is really BIG
Re: Re: Re: Re: .
net, ne videl ego v zhivuyu. I hope I do some day. Yeah I heard that he did some stuff with Chris Liberator. It would be nice someday to bring all the Russian talent together for like a festival or something. just a thought!

Ya zdes' toje v Toronto. But, most accissible DJ for me is DJ Slon, and DJ Alien. SLon, is umm...he seems popular in the younger community, Alien is more of a Jungle DJ, i like to chill to that music. But none of them satisfy my Trance needs like European DJs - AVB, Tiesto, Ferry...so on. Posle SLona, ya poteryal veru v russkih DJev, i bolshe ih ne slushal
.
As for Russki Razmer, i like them because of their "trademark" sound, kogda slishish ih pesnu, ti znaesh chto eto IH pesnya. I mostly like their old stuff, with a EURO feel to it. "" is ok, but its nothing special. Some tracks however, do have a much stronger TRANCE feel to them then anything else. But "650" is what made me like them.
BTW im 18
arrival project is the man, he's got some pretty good stuff!

Him and Mifody spin Russian pop mixed with trance/techno music in a Russian club they run in Toronto. He rarely spins at raves in Toronto, mostly in Montreal I guess. His mixing skills are indeed wicked. The guy should do something about his attitude though.
Thanks for the link!!!
as for his style... i don't know what he spins in Canada but in London he span FUCKIN HARD ACID TEKNO a-la D.A.V.E. the Drummer's style - hard and nasty. But i like Android better as a producer. His stuff on Maximum Minimum (UK), Cluster (UK), Smitten (UK), and Re-Entry (UK) is simply inimitable
His last EP on Cluster is one of my all time favor records.Seriously, he should move to London - he is as popular there as Liberator DJs or any other AVIN IT ERE producer
I doubt if he has the same popularity in Canada

Now Cosmonaut is working on solo project, some new trax produced, new album coming soon... http://cosmonaut.techno.ee/who.html
also read this http://www.bues.ru/pictures/discography3.htm
I found at least 3 different sources that have the information about their split. And i DO know that Cosmonaut was going to release his album alone. Another thing, have u heard anything new after serenada? and at the same time cosmonaut keeps producing trax as DJ Cosmonaut but now withot Zaya. And even if a new album (if any) is released by Radiotrance,i'm pretty sure cosmonaut would be its only producer...

ok then
What are their new trax?
Why don't we hear anything about Zayats?
and why then such trax as serenade, paravoz...etc, produced by cosmo and Zayats, were supposed to be inlcuded in Cosmonaut's SOLO album and NOT in Radiotrance's album????
this info here might help
