How would it compare to Bass Station? |
PHD IS FARKING FOUL!!!
Everyone looks like they want to stab each other! so angry and riddled with trash!
i used to enjoy it when everyone was happy but i have never see an angrier - disqgusing looking mob ever!
even some of my trashbag mates wont go near it and they live and die by the hard sword!
Posted by chubbs on Aug-16-2006 03:05:
It's not too bad Ben, it's just that it's become a tad inconsistent over the past few months. Sometimes hardstyle does it for them, sometimes they'd much prefer to rock it out to hard trance, so yeah.
lol pkc, get a clue dude..

Fair enough... people were warning me not to get killed at Bubble too... apparently bad stuff has gone down before?
I was semi-regular at Bass for the first month or two down here but it got a bit old... same tunes, same people, etc - reasonably friendly though

The way I see it, Hardstyle can only be enjoyed whilst on drugs.
Now I'm waiting for the ravers to flame me

Hard trance is a sub genre of trance, usually having a deeper and more prominant bass line as it's defining characteristic. It has the same uplifting and melodic properties of trance, however generally these are more emphasised, and can result in a more euphoric sound.
Hard dance originates from the UK and generally has a very bouncey feel to it. Depending on the style, it can also share the same uplifting and melodic features as hard trance. Hard dance usually sits at around 147-152 bpm, and usually has very sharp, synthesised melodies. Is sometimes grouped with hard house.
I'll do hardcore and hardstyle tomorrow when I've had sleep and I'm not midmix, lol.

I dont know exactly how to describe hard dance but to me it means stuff like nick skitz and cheesy crap that isnt good enough to be hard trance
.
Hard trance, we know as stuff like ding-a-ling
Hardstyle, normaly faster than hard trance and has that same distorted kick and distorted bassline, vocals usualy include some guy (or even girl sometimes) screaming or speaking in a dark voice.
Hardcore = Bang-Bang-Bang-BangBang-Bang-Bang-Bang-BangBang (x9999)
EDIT: Ok maybe hard dance isnt as bad as im saying but im yet to hear some hard dance that isnt cheesy (not that iv realy look anyways)

Sounds dead on.... plus there's Hardcore (Happy Hard/Freeform & Gabber) which runs from about 160bpm... I really can only think of Scott Brown and Hixxy as they play down here fairly often.
Edit: and Dyewitness

Talk about getting technical. COMMON SENSE!
The music speaks for itself, you figure it out eh!
I love anything with a hard, tough, deep, dark, filthy bass line - minus the cheese & head-doing-happy-hardcore.

And seriously, drugs are fucking everywhere.
You can walk into any trance/house/electro club and see people fucked off their faces on pills too. It's not just confined solely to clubs that play harder genres.
Posted by MiSSyM on Aug-17-2006 00:03:
lol atleast you're honest!
