I'm standing by my original statement--go with the LG VX8300 or the RAZR V3m. They're each $150 for you. The LG is supposed to be better, but a lot of people want the RAZR instead. Nokia doesn't make any CDMA phones (except for one or two which no one's mentioned, because they wouldn't make good recommendations for a number of reasons), so just ignore all the Nokia talk.

What is the technology they use in Australia for cell phones?
Is it CDMA or GSM? Do they use SIM cards over there or is it all CDMA like US?
