I'm going to have to say every WEMF I've been to too! They are alwasy my favourite parties of the year - I love the WEMF experience of music for 3 days, friends together, camping, everything. Unique from everything else I do the rest of the year!

Particularly Saturday night this year while Mark EG was on! Or Friday night after our madd funny mission of laughs and crazy times when we all finally found the renegade stage where D.A.V.E. The Drummer was spinning!!!

Best venue, best set, best crowd and atmosphere EVER. I brought a few tiesto haters and they even admitted that it was they best SET that they ever heard.

I have plenty of vids and pics, so if someone would be so kind as to teach me to post them, i certainly will. One of them is up on Google Video, type tiesto metropolis in the search field.

Besides Bal en Blanc's which have just been loads of fun, I would say the best feeling I have gotten out of a night with music and atmosphere combined would be:

Ferry Private Party @ Cielo NYC june 2006 (a fav just because it was great to have a chill event with just a few people and one of your fav DJ's...or two since Sasha was there as well...)

And one of the best ever:

Armin @ Tobacco Warehouse....I really just had the most amazing evening that night, and almost brought my emotions over the edge...it seems as if Armin felt the same...

I'm prettty new to this scene so I'm sure that my best night out is nothing compared to some of yours but I have to say Freedom at the Guv this past year was a great time for me! I live in Buffalo and don't get up to TO nearly as much as I'd like to but any time I make it up there it is a great time for me!

I have so many memorable nights out for various reasons over the years.. hard to narrow it down to a handful!

some that stick out in particular though include:

-Sasha & Digweed Northern Exposure tour in 1996 - My first party! My sister brought me to it, and even dressed me up as a 'raver'.. hehe
-Seeing Carl Cox at Sona in 2000.. one of my first times in the 'VIP' section which happened to be behind the booth.. watching Carl for 4 hours was so amazing.. I vowed to buy dex
-Many nights I have seen Preach rock da house.. but the night with Speedy J in 2003 was especially memorable.. and his career was really starting to take off then!
-Deetron & Joris Voorn at the techno mecca - Fuse on NYE.. been wanting to go to Fuse for a looooong time.. was great to finally go!
-DJ Rush at RM party January 2006 - had such a great night.. got a wicked promo that still hasn't been released either.. hehe
-Steve Rachmad & Rob Hood in NYC April 2006 - this trip was so worth it for me... had a nice dinner with Steve as well which was a bonus!

so many other great nights.. so many great djs... but the nights I chatted it up with some of my favourite DJs also hold a special place for me! Looking forward to many more nights that will stand out

Carl is getting a TON of mentions on here. I think that speaks volumes to the quality sets he spins.

I stood behind him on the stage at the party I mentioned at the first of the thread, so I got to take in his showmanship up close for a good hour before I had to start doing some footwork.
Kate Manus....I probably don't have the appreciation you have for his technique - you being a DJ and all - but he is a pleasure to watch even if you don't know what he is doing.

I think the best set I've seen Carl Cox spin was at the Area:2 Festival in 2002. Nothing beats Carl fanning himself with his own vinyl and yelling to the crowd on the mic.
