Good choice mate. I'd vote but I have an extreme hatred for the dj mag's top 100 after Tiesto won 3 years in a row. Plus I'm pretty sure everyone knows what my top 5 looks like anyway

not a huge fan of these top dj polls. all they do is drive up prices for the artists.

Posted by Protege on Aug-17-2006 18:06:

Zabiela
Mojo
Masiello
Sasha
Digweed

I should put the Timewriter and Kosmas Epsilon in the last 2 spots as Sasha and Digweed are gonna get tons of votes anyways.

Woot I got a vote!
On a serious note, it's high time that Super Greg is recognized for the true talent that he is.

Boring...

At first this ranking was interesting, but w/ the passage of time I think the "ranking" has become quite droll.

So PvD was "number 1" last year...and a year has gone by so fast...what changed? Noe someone else will be number 1....so what?

The way I look at is that we still have a right to vote, and not everyone does. If everyone who voted for the current "top 5" stopped voting because they figured it wasn't worth the effort, then my worst nightmare of 5 hip-hop dj's being voted top 5 could happen (I would still listen to CD's and downloads, but guess I wouldn't be going out anymore...)

Getting voted to the top 10, 20 or whatever does bring on an element of stardom, superpower, money, etc. but I really don't think some of these DJ's would be coming to LA and travelling around the world if they weren't in that group. Instead, they might be sitting back in their own country and their music would never get heard.

That's my opinion, anyway, and it's the reason why I vote. I also like to look beyond the top echelon and see who's moving up the list, there's over 100,000 of them on it!
