Coincidence is very unlikey, Everyday was a huge tune and regarded as a classic by alot of people, there's no way Armin couldn't have spotted the similarities.

even armins 'best' work which most people say, communication, is a rip of his alltime favourite tune, li kwan - point zero. Listen to the 2 tracks in full & you'll hear what I hear.

This is terrible, I miss the man who remixed yahel - devotion, aria, brought us 4 elements & one of the most underrated trance tunes imo, rising star - clear blue moon.

right click, save as - sample of communication & point zero

Posted by cherrybarry on Aug-26-2006 13:28:

hmmm i mean they're kinda of similar, but just like the face on mars, if you look close enough for any trance track these days, they're all gonna sound similar in certain parts. the genre's very much saturated

Posted by velvet_morning on Aug-26-2006 13:42:

the vocal is the saving grace of this track....... it takes it from *not mentionable* to *very playable*

LOL! That's funny

Posted by montana on Aug-27-2006 08:56:

he knicked the bassline & the song structure, it's not worse of rip than other things, at least he didn't go nick a melody and then claim it as his own (like mauro)

are you on about communication or love you more? cos the melody in love you more is 100% nicked

I am wondering where are all armin FANS and supporters now?
I mean those commercialised/vocalised trance tracks become one of the biggest reasons dj get popularity. These are the tracks which are basically known by their broad audience.Where is this audience now?i see all the time omg choon omg this omg that but never judging their idol.Is this a reason armin released this track anyway (based in his audience's lack of knowledge on the scene)?

Posted by Stino on Aug-28-2006 10:04:

i pretty much like the tune, especially the breaks, tbh.... all those shameless bashers here, who just bash because its armin going commercial...childish

Posted by staticblue on Aug-28-2006 10:08:

I didn't like this much. The vocal is ok, but the rest of the track is really boring IMO.

when I compare this to some of armin's older stuff like Burned With Desire or his remixes of Seven Cities / Janeiro / Mushroom Therapy I feel like armin is going down the slope production wize.

Posted by Mycron on Aug-28-2006 10:51:

I agree this track is nothing compared to his old stuffs, i still pretty much like this tune because of the vocals

Posted by FCB_Fanatic on Aug-28-2006 12:03:

Don't really like this track. I'm not into those vocal tracks to begin with, and although there are exeptions, this definitely is not one of them. For me this isn't even trance anymore, this is just a pop tune wich wants to be a trance tune

Posted by adrian_nicholl on Aug-30-2006 16:22:

Maybe he was making a 2006 Remix of everyday to play out and he decided to instead call it his own tune and disguise the melody with the god aful vocal from a real racoon

I dont mind bootlegs and melody rips but for fuck sake label them so, instead of trying to pass them as your own tune. SOMEONE will ALWAYS spot the rip off and tell others.

scarily enough, a lot of people considered that to be true when he released those 2 you mentioned

Your right on the money mate.

'4 Elements', is probably Armins best work, in my view anyway.

'Communication' is a very good track, but it is clearly heavily borrowed from 'Point Zero'

I was also a sucker for Rising Star 'Touch Me' (Instrumental Mix)

But he hasnt produced anything worth while for a LONG time...

Delete it from your hard drive, and listen to it at a club - problem solved.

Man, I so miss the 303 acid squelches from back then, so much nicer than the airy floaty pads you see today

EDIT - Incidently, that sample also reminds me of the Matt Darey remix of Liberation

will armin ever release communication part 3?? srsly..
