-- found chapelle ticket on the ground....
Pages (2): « 1 [2]
whatever maybe someone else did find it, and i hope they used it to better themselves in some way...
it sounds like an easy situation till you think a little harder..
but once again.... i think the main thing i lost out was the money i coulda scalped it for
i probably didnt do the right thing, but at the time, nothing really seemed like the right thing
Tickemaster's system has the ability to cancel tickets or mark them as lost/stolen. So, if the dude that lost it was smart, he called Ticketmaster to order a replacement ticket.
If that happened, the ticket would scan as invalid at the door. So if you used it, you would have been turned away. If you scalped it, you'd have some pissed off person looking for you for the rest of your life...
I stand by the opinion that you made the right decision.
You dumbass, I would of went and said I bought it off a person who said they didnt wanna go and sold it cheaper than scalpers prices.
Then again, I did go and pay a good amount of money to laugh my ass off. So maybe im just jealous that someone got to go for free.

lol yeah thats a really good idea except i am a terrible liar.... i would probably have a stupid smirk on my face and probably even burst out laughing knowing my lying abilities
IMO the correct move would have been to give the ticket to the upper management at the venue and explain to them you found it on the street.
The owner may come looking for it and the first thing I would do if I lost a ticket is go to the manager of the facility and ask there.

Actually, if they paid by credit card, you can always cancel the ticket and have ticketmaster replace it, but 2 hours before the show, its cutting it fairly close and ticketmaster offices may close by 5 or 6pm.
what you did was great! It's basically like you just saw it on the ground and didn't pick it up in the first place. I once found a fifty dollar on the ground at the movie theatre BUT I Kept it...

Your making this up right? or ur extremely! honest
i mean really what r the chances that ticket would stay in the same place when you left for the person to find it (wind ppl stepping on it), what u should of done is annoced if somebody lost a ticket ( they dont know of what) , if not taken it , and to the person beside you whose date lost the ticket , smile and state how excited u r to see the show.
