i used to love tiesto
now i can't really stand him

why? just because his musical focus has changed
when i started really liking him he was playing those absolutely insanely epic tracks that would drive the crowd into a frenzy...
but now he seems to be sticking almost complete progressive sets...true he'll throw in the odd epic tune here or there...but nothing to spend $30+ to see


granted this just might be how he spins when he comes to toronto, but i highly doubt it

i haven't seen him seriously mess up live, i mean his mixing sounded fine to me (granted he had a few trainwrecks...but that was due to needle skipping)
its just i can't stand progressive

PvD is great !!!
Tiesto sucks !!!

A couple songs weren't mixed too well at DD but he was playing for 9 HOURS STRAIGHT!!! I love Tiesto however, PVD IS GOD AND ALWAYS WILL BE #1!!!

I agree with the first part. 9 bloodi hours! ANYONE would get tired and lose concentration.. trainwrecking only one or two would be considered a miracle.

Dutch dimention is a 9 hours pure beauty, there is nothing compared to it. Tiesto will always been # 1 in epic, he will stay #1 forewer, he has proved it so many times.

BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!! to everyone who critisizes Tiesto, I've seen him live, he span the best set ever Trance energy 2000, he has soul in the music, not like PVD (his sole is in the beat, Tiesto's sole is the melody) He can play around with melody like anyone else. He spins an old stuff cause me and other millions are goin crazy about all that stuff. STOP saying Tiesto sucks, annoying and fucking pissing me off.
It is like u would say BMW sucks, caude they put same engine in all 2000, 2001 and 2002 cars. Everybody know it is top of the line, Tiesto is Top of the line Epic DJ..........

And don't start with these "9-hour sets."
Are you gonna have the patience to listen to a 9-hour set? Didn't think so.
What matters to me is a 1-hour set with energy, power, beauty, and yes, MELODY.

well guys one more time.every1 has his oppinion ok? i like Tiesto more than PVD...tiesto's sets sound the best to me!
maybe ta's should vote for who is the best: Tiesto or PVD ! what do u think? (if this hasnt happened already..)

like who u want...who the hell cares......i like Tiesto over PVD but that doesnt mean everyone else should...they both make GREAT music

I love both, not one more than the other!
Sometimes I listen Tiesto, sometimes PvD... It depends on my mood!

Just add that the best is Ferry IMO...

i really like both tiesto and pvd, but i HATE when people start dissing dj's. they're both good, some people like pvd more than tiesto. i like tiesto more than pvd, so could we please stop this madness?

I've only seen Tiesto spin once and I've only heard some of his tracks and so far, I really like his style and his music.

i've downloaded the set of pvd at rosenmontags and the first thing i noticed was his beat mixing!! so shut your mouth about tiesto!!
i think pvd's sets are nice for half an hour, but then it gets boring, and with tiesto i can keep going and going and going for hours!!!
