Well at his warehouse event he closed out with Delerium feat. Sarah Mclachlan - Silence and Armin Van Buuren Vs DJ Tiesto - Yet Another Suburban Train (Armin Van Buuren bootleg Vs Urban Train Vocal mix)

That's neat. I just think it would be cool if my mom got up there. I'd love to myself but man what a thing to remember if she was able to be in the booth with Armin.

those glowsticks won't even make it past security. I'm pretty sure they're not allowed. Good luck tho. The bouncers at FUR are assholes.

Yeah I have never seen anyone in Fur with glowsticks before. Also, going by my personal experiences at Fur, the bouncers have been really cool. Guess it all depends...

Posted by Dirichlet on Sep-07-2006 17:53:

Just a heads up - they DO NOT allow cameras into Glow - I've had mine almost confiscated, but the bouncer agreed to give it back to me if I deleted all pictures taken (he watched me do it) and gave him the batteries
pretty ridiculous if you ask me... but it's what they do, so be careful

Posted by Kimura on Sep-07-2006 18:52:

well i always hide them somewhere ....so it will pass through security..but in the end yeah they will take it.Thats what i hate about fur really...

great djs , great lightings , but shitty rules.

Posted by DOOMBOT on Sep-07-2006 19:52:

Weird, I was hanging no the balcony all night taking pics plain as day and no one said anything.

Im coming from Miami for this + 3 guest

6hrs

Hope to meet some new TA's

Who can tell me more about this Glow/Fur place besides not to bring cameras. I have seen a couple vids of this place. Looks rather nice. Anything else that makes this place stand out?? Armin just doesnt place 6hrs at any random place.

The best place to find a number of us (TA'ers) is on the opposite side of the floor from when you walk down the stairs (there's a bar on the right hand side of the booth as you're facing it - there's usually a little more room over there than on the rest of the floor)
Cheers

No traffic - <4 hours (once you're outside NYC)... with traffic, it's tough to call... count on a solid 5 hours just to be safe

Oh yeah, they're doing construction on I-95 after the Del Mem Bridge that really bottles things up... def count on 5 hours.

Good luck

Well Armins has been booked by Panorama Produtions since early 2002 so he a history with working with them and hes always attracted many people around here. The place ins't that big which blows because they took some time to make this place and they could have the main room bigger because I went there for Armin last year it was horrible since it was packed and plus most of the crowd act like idiots all drunks Also you might wanna PM Panorama about the whole camera thing

Ill light up my stick at around 2 am and probably will be taken around 3.That was usualy happens anywas...Ill be around the bar once u go down the stairs. You'll see bunch of asian guys and im one of em xD

btw..FUR isnt that big , I personaly dont like the place..I like Nation better (in DC)..But its demolished to the ground already
It's Gonna be packed..Its best if u park VIP u pay extra 20-30 bux and get in early instead of standing in the long assline around the club.

Well i usualy wear hats and its fine , just dont wear trucker or baseball cap and yeah No sneakers No shirt.

Have fun everyone..I cant wait till tomorrow...shiiiyt

When I saw Ferry earlier this summer I wore nice jeans and a t-shirt and had no problem getting in. Hopefully this remains the case as my t-shirt "Trance - The Other White Beat" desperately wants to make an appearance.
