I lurked for 6 months or so, can't even remember what made me actually join, I probably disagreed with someone and wanted to start an argument over it.

Between 6 and 9 months. Wasn't on any forums when barosoap and I started dating in July of 2004, started using the NY forums to find out about events, then I joined in March of 2005

I lurked for about 2 years before I joined. My friend told me to go to this site back in Winter of 01 for some tracks/live sets. At that time I didnt care about forums and a community, i just wanted new music. I finally joined in '03 because I wanted to ask where I could buy Sensation DVDs.

I think i found this site through a search engine. I lurked a good 6 months before signing up...i think Mabey it was the other way around like Inconspicuous.
