my best labour of love moment came from the 2004 party. When I went to CREAM instead. haha
Actually no, I'm being too harsh, but the earlier labour of loves were better, particularly the summer's end party with timo maas, or the adam freeland, deep dish summer's end or LoL 1, I can't remember which. Crammed as hell but the choons were sick.
And Sean, Sasha didn't play Xpander, he played the mash up witht he fat boy slim track. But I still like that track in any form it's played, and that was a good couple of minutes

My favorite LOL moment was in 2004 when NYTA invaded TO
...I was talking to this random guy in the tent, I was spun and decided to talk his ear off...then I asked him if he was ok...and he collapsed.
....and Ferry Corsten reminding me why I love Ferry Corsten.

In 2004, telling my buddy Rob that I just knew that Ferry would play "No One On Earth," the Gabriel & Dresden remix. He replied with "Naw man, that's not his style, he'll never play it."
2 hours later, we heard it being mixed in. Best clubbing moment I've experienced.
This will be my first LOL - and I'm super pumped about it. Saw Ferry Corsten tear it down at Global Gathering in England last month. Can't wait to see him again.
Hoping to catch some of Digweed's set too. Still yet to see him live.
And looking forward to meeting some more of you guys!

Last year, Deluxe Lounge, Digweed on the decks, lights go out and party really starts. I got chills all over. From that moment I was amazed with everything. lol!
I remember Digweed rewiring the decks himself while spinning and standing on his head. I swear.
Deep Dish were incredible and dancing with Demi and his little back pack front row centre was stupid fun!
Carl Cox.

2004 I dont remember most of the night besides when Ferry dropped the Anthems and crowd went insane. I met a good friend (Daz) who actually lives in London that night. This being my first Labour of Love and my first ALL ACCESS event, I was lost most of the night.
2005 This is going to be nearly impossible to beat, the DJs were some of my favorites, the crowd had an amazing vibe, met tones of TAs and I had the chance to bring my best friend to his first real party in Toronto (Jon Bradford who just turned 19 and I made L.o.L his present). Not to mention I brought along alot of my close friends.
2006 Although it hasnt happened yet, I am predicting this Labour of Love to take the lead as my #1.
Reasons:
- Celebrating two of my close friends birthdays - Mr. Sean Cassidy and My big sister Jody!
- The DJ lineup is fabulous.
- What is really going to make this one special is the fact that almost all my friends from London are coming to celebrate the end of the summer with me. My group of friends is probably from 30-50 of us. Not to mention my friend Greg making the trip to L.o.L (alone) from The University of Buffalo. Also it's my best girl friend Emma's first L.o.L
- I am predicting that the vibe will be awesome this night (Armin being early in the night should help that out).

One of the funniest times at LOL I think was two years ago when Ferry Corsten was headlining the KH.
Josh, myself and our friend Caille were all together dancing...and Ferry starts bringing in this track that sounds like a clock...tick-tock, tick-tock. We all look at each other blankly, saying "What is this song? It sounds so familiar!" The three of us...EDM enthusiasts...cannot figure out what the song is at all...the next thing we hear:
"I'm on a mission, let me take you back and forth, another jam that's gonna make you scream for more. From New York, London til' Amsterdam, let's fuck. I wanna rock your body rock!"
Rock Your Body, Rock! OMG we were so dumb. The song had been out for a LONG time, and we knew EXACTLY what it was...but the three of us all just had this major brain fart.
*kinda reminds me of the time...or 3...that Laura forgot what 'For an Angel' was*

Got a new one.
One of those trance hands in the air moment when Ferry threw down Corderoy - Sweetest Dreams (Ferry Corsten remix) and everyone in KH has their hands in the air.
Labour of Love 2006 - 6am-10am - FRC with Ferry Corsten...he stares
