no word from angelo ( he got me to buy his tickets now im stuck with 2 extras)
looks like sir fly will be at cyber

so no meet up at lennox then

im sure there will be tickets at the door but expect to pay around $20-$25

i've got 2 extras at $17

holy cow that was fun!
great tunes, great vibe, great people. lots of TAs came out, was really good to see many familiar faces.

what i really liked is that piet wasnt playing just the new stuff, but he had some older stuff going, like wairwave, top gear, as the rush comes (hah yea, he played that, and people went nuts). love theme dusk definately made my night. but having a terrible memory, im not even going to attempt at IDing tunes

poor naz, he had so much liquor in him hahah
vlado was bouncing up and down like a yoyo, he was having so much fun
angelo was dancing, again!
an aussie TA made it all the way down here from whistler for this
i didnt see a single person not having a good time
actually i'd go as far as saying about 95% of the people were dancing
and the turn out was quite decent too, close to 200 people maybe ?

Yeah it was definatley a great night for me, but WOW... the people occupied less than 1/4 of the club. *SIGH guess Vancouver is not ready for Trance scene anymore

BUT
they were all in the front
the one thing that happens at trance events all the time is that people are dispersed in all corners, no one is dancing, its really lame. but not last night. i think thats a huge success for getting them to move their butts

Quality over quantity night !!!!

Oh man ! what a night , had a blast . Wanted to thank everybody that came out on a wednesday night , that made this happen . Highlight of the night for me was everybody singing along , yes singing along to As the rush comes , sounded like a small soccer stadium to me . Props to Ph1 and company for bringing Piet and keeping the price down . Tough to get a crowd out on a weekday and as i was leaving the plaza and going to the car , the only people on the street were Plaza people . Lol might have had something to do with the fact we went round in circles . Met some great people that night and re-touched base with some of the regulars . Lets keep the vibe alive and lets see everybody out for OO FLEMING !!!!

I think the turn out for Rank 1 on a wednsday exceeded anyone's expectations

Hey everyone

I just wanted to say I had a great time Wed. night. It was great seeing all the TA's - Naz, Houman, Elena, Vlado, Julie, Angelo, Anthony, Jen, Steve, Xtrm3, Ksenia, and also Illuysha- great to make your acquaintance 'mate. It was all worth the drive up from Seattle.

yeah, back then he was just Armin and had a simple synth. Armin's first track Blue Fear and IMO still his best.

Thanks to the Plaza and Common Grooves for having me out to play. Was fun to dig back into the ol trance well for some classic tunes.

And big ups for Naz who was going off and feeding me a few jagers!
