My guess (again) is that Fox does not know PvD personaly. The reason I say this is that Fox is quite obviously (as am I) a massive fan. PvD distances himself as far as possible from his fans when outside of clubland due to past experiences..... hope you don't mind me cutting in Starfox. Feel free to correct me on any point I have put across. Jarv |

Pvd claimed it was a in lawyer's safe and i expect it after what happened to bt and hybrid that the album is well hidden. But i do expect it to be released in a few yrs.....well till then......i await his new album.

Okay, maybe not that much but i'm sure there are other tracks from 'Avenue Of Stars' that he put into OTAB, apart from Another way and Avenue. I mean 'All I Need' is NOT on the vinyl either! Starfox : can u tell PvD NOT TO MIX his artist albums thank you. |
holy crap...lol...thas alot of readin...lol...now u guys got me 'intrigued'...LMAo...
Fox,
please don't get me wrong. I've just asked you that question other times in other threads and have seen others ask it - I've just never seen you answer it. Pretty much you answered the same way I did on your behalf - sorry for doing that.
There's more to knowing PvD personally in the classic sense, and we love him so much by not knowing him this intimately. So I know what you mean.
It's the whole psychology of the musical genius that is Paul van Dyk and the Vandit brand. And I know you know what I mean when I tell you that.
Respect always.

well funny thing is...
a while ago when me and paul were friends, he came around my house, he had left his keys on top of my fridge. anyway he gave me this cd he had jsut done, he seemed wuite chuffed with it. anyway we put it on and sat down inthe front room, with a cuppa tea (paul has too many sugars badboy) i said it was alright and he said it was his new album. tragic thing is as paul went to take it out of the cd player my cat came in,and paulis scared of cats. he dropepd the cup onto the hi fiand drenched it, with the cd still in the hifi. i took fluffy out of the room and we tried to get the cd out, unfortunatly when we yanked the drawer open the cd was scorchedand useless. so that the storyof whats happend to pvd's album. it my cats fault.

Show me the money....
Well nice thread indeed.
I thought i was reading "the raiders of the lost ark" script.
Always a new clue to expand the thrill... hh.
At least, yep i red about this trial beetween MFS and PvD in different issues of Muzik in 99'.
But really don't you think (And i love what PvD is able to release) that he was the ****** in this story and not the fucked...
Cos' in regard of his contract, i guess, MFS had the right to not let him go with this brillaint lost album...
I think he had a bigger success than he expected in few time, and then he decided to break to get more $...
But what made him the well known trance dj he is, i guess all this began a bit with "X-Mix MFS Trip". Without MFS, we maybe prolly never heard about him nowadays.
I'm not dis on PvD, but i'm not sure i get why it didn't want to apply his contract till the end and let release this last album under MFS label.
Feel free to refresh my memory if i mess up.
Btw, TTA, nice club culture, your quote, article, was just brilliant
Cya'.
