I've got some webspace for you if you still need it.
Just let me know
.

yeah farris that would be great. I just realized though that when I rendered the video that it skipped the mixdown and mastering stages because I got some error. So it's going to be a little bit more than 50-60MB and that's when I encoded at 1024x768 with 11fps or so. This SnagIt program didn't work as well as I was hoping for it to.
No problem, I've got about 200MB. Just give me your best take
.
Edit: just for future reference. You might want to look at BB Flashback to replace SnagIt. I've heard some positive things about it.

BB Flashback is da bomb! its so simple to use and yet very powerful, you can export into mpeg, avi even flash (of course) you name it. i recommend this!
Hey Lindo,
I would just suggest one thing...you might want to do a "script" actually not every person on the boards can catch what you're speaking about (as they arent native speakers) and this could help them...
Myself included sometimes...I can understand americans speaking, but brits are teh pain...
)
well just a thought
booster's got a point ...
I'll be able to host a direct download link for you if you need it. Just let me know
I can host up to 1 GB with direct link if you need it...
Best of luck
I can host it on my school's server. We have ~1GB/s in upload speed.
It's not supposed to be used for such, but it's a good purpose, and if I get busted I'll just talk my way out of it.
The more mirrors, the more joy! ^^
just pop it onto youtube....., you will find tons of FL6 videos already on there...

yeah 800x600 is what i did, but the fps was kinda low at only 11. For some reason the program really doesn't do so well on rendering the frame rates. I'm just going to post it up on youtube and see how it works.
50-60 megs is nothing in terms of space, it's just a lot of transfer if you have, say 200 people downloading it in a month; that comes out to 10-12 GB/month transferred.
That's not too terrible for me, although other people seem to be volunteering anyway. If they want to host it, I'll use my space as a mirror.
(Somehow I don't think it'll come out too well on YouTube if it was recorded at 800x600 resolution, but I could be wrong...)
Keep us up to date.
I think you can use all the spaces offered to you and upload ur movie on all of them and add a simple script to the page to download and it will randomly pick a host for download...this way you'll prevent traffic on one host and users will get more speed if many are downloading at the same time
no... please don't upload to youtube. try files.to
they claim to serve up to 100mb file size limit and no bandwidth limitation... c'mon!
The video is much bigger than anticipated. It's around 300MB. I actually had to re-encode because the SnagIt program was annoying and would take forever to record the menus. Then I tried BB Flashback and that program wasn't recording my microphone all the time. I'm going to try finding a host to support this bandwidth. I'll keep everyone updated. If you guys want until then, I can just post the flp with Fruity Notebook.
this sounds interesting. Maybe a torrent file would work, if you cant find bandwith elsewhere?

a lot of guys dont use fruity so we wont be able to view the flp?
i think i have an old version of fruity it may work, anyhow hopefully you can host the tutorial.
torrent would probably be the best bet. that way u can just upload the torrent file and we can just download from there. maybe some people dont know what a torrent file is. But its really simple and u wont have to sit there and pray your upload goes thru.
Hotness! Bittorrent is the best idea yet. I'll make a torrent file today and post it up. I just have to run a few errands first. My upload speed is around 40KB/sec so it might take a little while, but that's alright.
