I gotta agree with the dude on this one, pretty stupid how insurance companies instantly assume that just because we're males we're a danger to society behind the wheels.

It was just funny to see how my agent had no words to justify the expensive price of the insurance, even though I've never been in accidents, until she just had to admit "you're male and under 25, I'm sorry"...

And women complain about sex discrimination... talk about irony.

I think it's got to do with the fact that most asians are into tuning cars aka fast driving, racing, etc.

I work for an insurance company in the UK...And yeah we do get calls like this...for example, some guy didn't understand why his car insurance had gone up by �5 from his online quote after he increased his car value by �1500! Some people just don't have a clue....
But other times the computer systems don't have a clue, i've had price increases of �600 just because someone has changed their job title from Retail worker to Plumber...you cant justify it to the customer, all you can do is say sorry and give then the number for a better company.

As for safer drivers...
Women actually make alot more Claims on there insurance, they have many more accidents than men...but they're usually small knocks and dents...little things.
When men crash....We really fuck up royally and thats what pisses off the insurance companies.
