It shows weak character and poor sportsmanship to react in a such a way, especially during such an important game. Wouldn't have mattered even if Materazzi HAD said something worse...Zidane could have just let it go and be the better sportsman, but instead he stooped to Materazzi's level like a bitch. So they're both crybaby morons.
Now I can sleep at night.
Re: Re: Finally, Materazzi reveals what led to Zidane Headbutt
perhaps we need to goto an italy game & chant for marco 'pics of your sis or stfu' and see how he reacts. and yes he speaks english after a spell in the EPL (well i say spell, he spent most of it suspended for 3 or 4 red cards)
Marco is fucking hilarious, and I bet he would've done something back to the crowd if they sung that song Ian.

| Originally posted by Ian Yeah, I know what coup said 'no more threads' but since marco has today revealed what was actually said, I thought we may as well let it be known to put an end to it for good, so here goes.... "I would prefer your sister," replied Materazzi. "I answered verbally with a provocation to defend myself. Yes, I was tugging his shirt, but when he said to me scornfully 'If you want my shirt so much I'll give it to you afterwards,' is that not a provocation? I don't believe that for one second. It's not like he'd admit to using racial slurs anyways. Saying he said "I'd rather have your sister" pretty much gets him off the hook, stupid wanker.
what Materazzi did to Sorin was much worse....but only football fans will know what im talking about...unless it's on youtube.

what this doesn't show is what we saw here on tv, that materazzi took a real look over at sorin prior to the run, and he knew exactly what he was doing. it was totally premeditated.
What an idiot.

If you want to talk about wankers don't forget about Cambiasso. That dude cut open Ramon Morales in the Confederations Cup last year. Of course most have forgotten about it because Cambiasso made history this year by scoring one of the most beautiful goals in the WC after 25 passes.
FIFA doesn't give a crap about incidents like the one between Marco and Zidane. They just decided to make an investigation because it was Zidane and they needed to maintain the great image FIFA has. They needed to make themselves seem responsible because millions watched the incident. That was it.
Since there is no video for the Cambiasso VS Morales incident, here's a nice video of Keane:
This is why the US needs to wake up from their american football is the hardest sport in the world. Last time I checked everyone hugged after the game, not bowed people's faces in for winnings...

materazzi is a freaking killer !
I know yall aint talking about being hard...
in hockey they just let the players box it out. now thats raw right there.
while we're on the subject of bad injuries, not many can be worse than what Diego Simeone did to Julen Guerrero which left him with a hole in his leg, i think in the hamstring.
that tackle keano did on halland was unreal, keane wrote this in his book about the incident
"I'd waited long enough. I fucking hit him hard. The ball was there (I think). Take that you ****. And don't ever stand over me sneering about fake injuries, even in the dressing room afterwards, I had no remorse. My attitude was, fuck him. What goes around comes around. He got his just rewards. He fucked me over and my attitude is an eye for an eye."
