Would Luke Fair be considered a local dj?

I'd love to make it out there to catch Digweed, going to be tough though

Haha, well he is from Toronto. So he's definately "local". No need to edit But he's in the international scene as well, which is what begged my question, is he still considered local?

exactly. PLUS, I can't wait to see luke fair open up for him. I've heard a lot about this dj and have not had the chance to see him as yet. In fact, the perfect dj to be opening up for digweed.

How would you know he's the perfect warmup for digweed if you haven't seen him live before?

(but yeah he probably is the perfect warmup pour le digg, lol ok I'm going to bed)

it's quite busy on weekends and tuesdays (tuesday being the hospitality night). lots of clientelle from the states, most are from st.cats/falls and surrounding area. i haven't seen the place on a wednesday when it wasn't special event, but i will one of these days.

its cool

niagara seems to have a thriving scene except they seem rather picky with who they go out to support. its either that or lack of knowledge about some of the dj talent.

wonderfulmind says dragonfly wasnt busy for sydney blu and nathan barato but those two djs would have no problem pulling a crowd here in toronto. also, we dont know what wonderfulmind's idea of "dead" is. is "dead" a club that is a quarter full? half full? three quarters full? or is a club considered dead if it isnt packed with people standing shoulder-to-shoulder?

when i went with manzone&strong for their two gigs at dragonfly, they pulled in about ~400, which is pretty damn good in my opinion.

when AVB played there it was RAMMED. i think it was the busiest night to date according to the management. i am predicting the same turnout for digweed.

get there early, folks!

Hahaha, I was there last night too after winning $300 in poker and my buddy won $400 in blackjack. Dropped by the DJ booth so that my friend could say hello to Nathan. We immediately left for Sundowners and Seductions after leaving Dragonfly with our winnings!!!

The place was SUPER DEAD and it was WAY, WAY more PACKED when I went to see our local boys Manzone and Strong last time. Besides, our local talent always sound the best at their home Comfort Zone anyway.

I will definitely be only going to that place for headliners on Wednesdays from now on. Can't wait to see Diggers on the 20th!

I was there in spirit

they make enough money on other nights to sustain a house night for as long as the club will be open. the place is packed on tuesdays, fridays, and saturdays.

plus, the manager of the place is as big an edm fan as you get.

having said that...the scene around here could use some work tho...

maybe better promotion?
