-- When will he go? the Tony Blair saga

Labour have turned into a load of Liberals as far as I'm concerned lack their traditional left wing roots.
Get a good right wing government in sort out this country, first off we need a decent immigration system something which looks more at the UK's needs something which will benefit this country get in people where we have gaps in our employment market.
All this being soft on people shit really pisses me off, I would send knocking squads into every trouble spot in this country, give every single group of people up for a fight a fucking good hiding, none of this ASBO anti dispersal order stuff.
Also another thing with policing Community Support Officers?!?! WTF is their role? Stop petty crime I'm sorry if I was younger and commiting a crime and one of them come over to me I'd tell them where to go, armed with a flashlight too pathetic!
Most Police people these days got bullied at school or suffer from a severe case of Napoleon syndrome. The whole force needs a restructure
it needs an investigational unit and a knocking/nutting squad recruited out of military units people who can handle themselves.

| Originally posted by Coup depends on your definition of good. hes excellent at shadow games. tweaking the rules, moving this, moving that, hiding that under the carpet etc. to give an example, when Rail Track when bankrupt, Network Rail took charge of the rail network only on the understanding that the state secured the debt of what Rail Track incured. Brown agreed to this and the state secured the debt - yet that debt is not included on the money the state owes. why? because it'd break browns golden rule of not borrowing more than he can repay over a cycle. Yes hes kept us ticking over, but don't believe it wasn't done by playing with the rules. |
We're in need of a Conservative government to re-dress the balance now. The country needs a change every now and again. Both parties have biases to different types of policy and if one of them gets in for too long they get complacent and it all goes to shit. Inheritance tax was the last straw for me, the idea that the goverment can tax people again for stuff their loved ones have already paid tax on is insane.
Labour is now taxing us to death on everything and its got to stop. We're paying off idiots who refuse to get jobs ever with state benefits , and taxing hard workers to death for it and don't get me started on the way they're just pissing money into the wind with the NHS. Its not always how much u spend its how u spend and Labour don't have a clue. Another thing is that the idea of having Gordon Brown who is essentially a money counter run the country really makes my piss boil.
Other than the fuckup that is iraq, the guy has had a pretty good run over the last 10 years.
Like the idea of Cameron at the next election though, seems pretty liberal and open minded.

Az having worked for the government for 18 months i've seen first hand how shambolic and inefficient things are being run, and how labours 'target' system is strangling services and resulting in half arsed products just to meet these 'targets'.
I'd rather the Tory's had another go than just sit back and let Labour carry on fucking about. A poll on the news stated 50% of this country thinks it was better to live here 20 years ago than now.
oh, and Thatcher doesn't run the Tory's anymore.

Labour = Welfare State, all these fucking skanks you see on the streets these days are down to Labours Nanny State Politics from the 60's & 70's. Fucking scroungers.
Most young people who whinge on about the tories take their parents views, they were just about itching in their Dad's pants when Thatcher was incharge, and too young to remember Major (Who was a shit Prime Minister).
A load of my mates are Labour supporters, majority of my family are, I have this debate with them just about every day.
