just route your sh-201 audio out to soundcard audio in.

Hehe, sounds easy in theory but I just can't find a way of doing that

according to an sh-201 owner over at audiopioneers.net it should be possible to route the whole audio stuff trough the usb and the vsti. afaik you need an update of the whole sh-201 software..

Ok thanks cyrus, I read the article on the SH-201 and it seems the guy 'ten' had the same problem but got it fixed.

I updated the software as soon as I got the SH-201 so I don't think it's that, but maybe the update only worked for ten's particular soundcard?

I'll pm you my e-mail. If it's not too much trouble could you contact ten and see if he would be willing to let me know how he set his SH-201 up in cubase?

Thanks.

Well,

I've found out that there is definately no way I'll be able to get the usb audio working.

I've had a good think about it; I'm going to take it back and get a virus because the usb was such a strong selling point for me and now it's not working.

Shame, but bring on the virus

seemed solid with a nice feel. looks like a toy and reminded me of that yamaha 'remix' keyboard with ribbon controller and sampler that was around years ago. sound seamed ok but not as good as some of the soft synths i have played on.

One of my mates bought one recently as his first synth. It's nice, but the top end is not quite as detailed as the JP80X0 imo. Brilliant piece of kit for the new price though!

well sounds ok but almost everyone here already has a virus or jpso dont see that great difference,,,of course its great if you dont have neither...

cheers
